[Bug 1438936] Re: indicator-multiload needs padding to avoid panel item location jitters
Hi Michael, You mean the text readout got removed in the development version? It doesn't seem necessary to throw out the baby with the bath water. [Bug 1439140] [NEW] Display familly name first in the addressbook
Public bug reported: In southern Germany and Austrias it is common to put the famillyname in front of the firstname. So instead of John Doe it would be Doe, John. @meira Sorry, somehow I had missed Dirk's comment. According to that, 3.16.0-33 should be fixed. In which case, you can try the latest mainstream kernel. [Bug 1272788] Re: php5-fpm upstart job is not compatible with precise upstart
This decision has some REALLY annoying side effects on Trusty, which took us quite some time to figure out. With the commented reload stanza, the reload function is broken in a horrible way: It sends SIGHUP to the php5-fpm master process causing it to terminate! Without any warning or indication that this is in fact happening. Based on the output the user thinks the reload worked just fine. However, after having done such a reload, any further reloads, restarts or stops will fail, because the master process has been terminated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to php5 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1272788 Title: php5-fpm upstart job is not compatible with precise upstart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bug/1272788/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1439133] [NEW] [MainView] Background color and image rendering is too slow
Public bug reported: The MainView renders at the bottom-most layer a background composed of a colored rectangle and an image. The way it is currently implemented implies two fullscreen passes with alpha blending on. This is very slow. A solution would be to use just one pass using a ShaderEffect or a dedicated C++ component. Disabling alpha blending (possible since it's the bottom-most layer) would also provide a good performance boost. Another idea, if no image needs to be rendered, would be to simply set the GPU clear color to the background color, to render it for free. ** Affects: ubuntu-ui-toolkit (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Loïc Molinari (loic.molinari) Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1439133 Title: [MainView] Background color and image rendering is too slow To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/+bug/1439133/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

It has been shipped with fcitix as the default IM framework, making use of the old im-config behavior. The new im-config behavior, which is locale based, breaks that. Presumably the remix can do whatever it wants. This bug is asking to make the change for *all* Ubuntu users.
