[Bug 1460935] [NEW] REPACK and PROPER torrents in RSS feeds are not handled properly
Public bug reported: When an RSS feed contains a certain episode of a series and later the feed is updated with a REPACK or PROPER version of that episode, the new version is considered to be the same as the old one. However, FatRat should distinguish the two and download the newer one as well if so configured. The reason for the faulty behaviour is the wrong arguments for some string matching functions. [Bug 837882] Re: Vim on Ubuntu is compiled without clipboard and xterm_clipboard support
I fully agree with Garnet. Vim's current package nomenclature is counter-intuitive, counter-productive, and arguably constitutes a bug. While there do exist use cases for a headless Ubuntu, I'd contend that those are largely edge use cases. For Ubuntu and like-minded GUI-centric Linux distros (e.g., Mint), non-headless desktop, laptop, and touch devices predominate. Given that, the average user has every expectation of a package named "vim" installing a fully featured CLI-specific version of Vim supporting the average working environment: the X11-based desktop metaphor, complete with clipboard and mouse integration. Since this is currently not the case, the current "vim" package should ideally be renamed as Garnet suggests (e.g., to "vim-console") and a new "vim" package providing a fully featured CLI-specific version of Vim instated in its place. Thanks for your continued efforts, Ubuntu developers. It's gratefully appreciated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/837882 Title: Vim on Ubuntu is compiled without clipboard and xterm_clipboard support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vim/+bug/837882/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1297849] Re: [SRU] Virtual private network connection fails after distribution upgrade due to outdated Network Manager configuration files
I keep running into this on multiple installations, with openconnect. Removing only ~/.gconf/apps/nm-applet/%gconf.xml always fixes it for me, yet that file is basically blank with just a change time. And it gets recreated yet continues to work (for quite some time) but occasionally I have to remove it again. Just logging out/in doesn't fix it, can be broken for days or weeks. Obviously removing that file triggers something to occur as that file itself does not change contents. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1297849 Title: [SRU] Virtual private network connection fails after distribution upgrade due to outdated Network Manager configuration files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/1297849/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1459557] Re: partitions blacklisted in launcher keep coming back
I characterized this problem more clearly. The culprit is the program gnome-disk-utility. If standby time or APM is set to ON, all partitions of the drive are added to the launcher. If they are removed with "unlock from launcher" they come back with the next reboot. If the standby time and APM are set to OFF, normal launcher behavior returns. This started happening in May 2015. In my case the disk is /dev/sdb which contains various rarely used Linux partitions (old versions of Ubuntu, Fedora, Suse, Mint) and is normally not spinning (APM set for spin-down). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1459557 Title: partitions blacklisted in launcher keep coming back To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1459557/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
