I'm getting this error on Mint 17.2 w/kernel 3.19.0-26 too. My bluetooth mouse seems to be fine (no battery registering), but my keyboard is showing as a 2nd laptop battery. [Bug 1490673] Re: Can't receive MMS for Orange or SOSH by Orange in france
@Cyril, I see that nuntium is receiving a MMS and all seems good there. Traces from nuntium.log: 2015/09/08 21:50:07 Push data ... 2015/09/08 21:50:08 Trying to set Active property to false for context on false /ril_0/context3 If nothing is received I can only think of some problem in messaging-app when trying to parse the message. Where did you send the MMS from, and with which attachments? Have you tried to send the MMS from different phones? [Bug 1493667] [NEW] Missing registry endpoint for unconfined scopes
Public bug reported: The ubuntu-scope-network profile current does not list Registry-R as an accessible endpoint (only Registry-s and Registry-p). We need the Registry-R endpoint accessible to confined scopes as well, otherwise they can't query the registry for existing scopes. This endpoint was meant to be accessible all along. We never noticed that it was missing until now because, normally, only aggregators call list() and get_metadata(), and aggregators run unconfined. But the methods need to be accessible to confined scopes too. [Bug 1487365] Comment bridged from LTC Bugzilla
--- Comment From venka...@in.ibm.com 2015-09-09 04:09 EDT--- Hi Mauricio, First of all its blocking two of our test-cases. One which explicitly says to install OS on Raid and other test case, also needs to be installed OS on Raid and one of the drive to be hot-pluged and data(OS should be up and running) should be intact. And, this being firestone machine, which has only two SATA drive and no adaptor is present to access these drives, So it become even more critical, that we test this scenario. As customer may obviously want to install OS on RAID1 rather than installing on just a plain drive, for obvious reasons. [Bug 1493649] [NEW] kde Shut down/Restart/Logout buttons stopped working after installation of nvidia-346 package
Public bug reported: I have a notebook with a NVIDIA GeForce 840M GPU. The OS is Ubuntu 14.04. Both Unity and kde-plasma-desktop are installed. Everything was configured and running smoothly while the Nouveau display driver (xserver-xorg-video-nouveau) was being used, but after installing the nvidia-346 package (as explained in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/Nvidia) the Shut down, Restart and Logout buttons in kde stopped working. Also in kde, I'm unable to change the driver in the "Software & Updates -> Additional Drivers" or change the GPU in "NVIDIA X Server Settings -> Prime Profiles". However, everything works perfectly in Unity. ps:. Right after loggin in kde, the system strangely seems to freeze for few seconds (maybe something like 20 seconds), after answering and start working normally. [Bug 1491964] Re: [FFE] LibreOffice 5.0.x for wily
I noticed this in .changes for libreoffice: - use internal libwps, opencollada, collada2gltf, libcmis, cppunit. Without looking any deeper just now, that feels very wrong. Either there should be more rationale as to why this was suddenly changed, or it's misdescribed (I see in changes merged from Debian changes in versions for some of these). There's also mentions of disabling -evolution and -kde temporarily because parts they depended on were uninstallable in Debian -- they might not be uninstallable in Ubuntu. I think it would be better to double-check them and keep them available if they were already available in previous releases, since it would otherwise mean a regression for some users. Finally, is it normal for libreoffice and libreoffice-l10n to have exactly the same changelog? Even if they come from the same upstream source tarball, they appear to be two different source packages, and in the case of -l10n, at least some of the changelog entries wouldn't mean anything. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1491964 Title: [FFE] LibreOffice 5.0.x for wily To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1491964/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

AE Grey, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. As per http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Q400A an update to your computer's buggy and outdated BIOS is available (209). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command: sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette . Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. As well, you don't have to create a new bug report. Once the BIOS is updated, and the information above is provided, then please mark this report Status New. [Bug 1493615] [NEW] update-grub ignores linux partition
Public bug reported: Successfully upgraded to vivid. During an update to the kernel the system regenerated the grub menu which ignored the root partition on my SSD. Interestingly running update-grub on the old copy of Kubuntu correctly generates a grub.cfg with an entry for sda5. For this reason I believe this is a late change to the grub code base which is causing this defect.
