@zoltor I see issue with Super+A/F/M/C/V starting from 13.10 or 14.04 (don't remember). Some Super+* hotkeys are working, for example Super+W. Also this bug exists even if I boot from live USB so it's clearly not my user profile issue. @Roman sadly but with your patch keyboard behavior is unpredictable. [Bug 1496102] Re: Bluetooth connection breaks in a few seconds
Basically we don't support phone-to-phone connections at the moment. When initiating the connection the Ubuntu device to another phone that will even not be possible as we disable the "connect" button for a phone-type device. However if you make the connection the other way round that depends on which profile the remote wants to use and if the remote device is marked as trusted after it got paired. If it is not marked as trusted there is now way to allow the connection at the moment as we just don't allow it. As already stated on bug 1496107 this is a missing feature and will be added in the future. ** Also affects: bluez (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: bluez (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Simon Fels (morphis) ** Tags added: after-bluez5 bluetooth ** Changed in: canonical-devices-system-image Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: canonical-devices-system-image Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1496102 Title: Bluetooth connection breaks in a few seconds To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1496102/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1495207] Re: BQ E4.5 (r24): after fine update to r25 system is reported as r-1 and as "never" updated
some remarks to Barry's last comment: 1) keep in mind that the device was nearly fully functional after the update, I only saw the problem because I went to the 'about' screen and because of the scopes; it could be the fact that more users are hit by the problem; 2) the channel.ini file is in a read-only file system; I have had to remount the root to correct it; i.e. it is nearly impossible that a normal user could damage that file; 3) I wanted today morning to check the image, but I only see small files in this place: http://system-image.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-touch/stable/bq- aquaris.en/krillin/ where is the full image? thanks for all the support to get my wife's BQ working again! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1495207 Title: BQ E4.5 (r24): after fine update to r25 system is reported as r-1 and as "never" updated To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1495207/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1496236] [NEW] package dkms 2.2.0.3-1.1ubuntu5.14.04.2 failed to install/upgrade: package dkms is already installed and configured
Public bug reported: Description:Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS Release:14.04 Running software updater I get the message waiting for configuration file prompt. The prompt is: Replace your changes in 'etc/ati/atiapfxx' with a later version of the configuration file? The list of changes is empty. Selecting either command button (Keep or Replace) does nothing and the system is hung. I closed both the prompt and SoftwareUpdater dialogs and rebooted. I then removed the AMD proprietary driver. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Reviewing your log files attached to this bug report it seems that there is a problem with your installation media (CD/DVD). You can verify the integrity of the Ubuntu ISO files you downloaded by following the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM. You might also retry your installation with new media. In the event that is is not in fact an error with your installation media please set the bug's status back to New. Thanks and good luck! [Bug 1496227] [NEW] Remove glade-3 from Archive, 15.10+
Public bug reported: With Quickly removed per bug 1494345 there are no Reverse Dependencies on glade-3. Source package: glade-3 Binary packages: glade-gnome glade-gtk2 libgladeui-1-11 libgladeui-1-dev There is a suggests from libglade2-dev (not being removed) -> glade- gnome but this is also broken in Debian -https://packages.debian.org/sid/libglade2-dev These packages appear to have been removed from Debian for quite some time, glade-gnome is currently only found in oldoldstable. (The one exception is https://packages.debian.org/sid/libgladeui-1-dev which I don't really understand) There appears to be no future updates coming - https://git.gnome.org/browse/glade/?h=glade-3-8 It was previously removed in 2011 but added back to keep support for create/editing gtk2 uis - also due to Quickly, per bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glade-3/+bug/825070. I don't believe it's worth keeping in 2015. ** Affects: glade-3 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1496227 Title: Remove glade-3 from Archive, 15.10+ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glade-3/+bug/1496227/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1496226] [NEW] Top-left menu disappears after viewing a photo
Public bug reported: Take a few photos with the camera. Start gallery app. Tap on one of the photos in the events view. Tap on the photo and then on the "back" chevron. Now the events view shows again, and the menu at the top-left has disappeared. (It's now a black box and tapping on that doesn't activate the menu.) @Alberto no offense, but for Unity this bug was never fixed, so you can easily add tag "all future Ubuntu releases". Bugs doesn't disappear if no one tries to fix it. [Bug 1496223] [NEW] squid3 FTBFS due to linux-libc-dev and libc6-dev headers mismatch
Public bug reported: Note: currently squid3 fails due to libecap3-dev dependency, this is easily fixed by going back to libecap2-dev (only squid 3.5+ will build with libecap3-dev [1]). [Bug 1451565] Re: /var/log owned by wrong group (android_input) (again)
I find it trivial to reproduce this issue: 1. adb reboot bootloader 2. ubuntu-device-flash foo 3. Note that syslog works normally. 4. adb reboot bootloader 5. ubuntu-device-flash foo 6. Note that syslog no longer works. Steps 4/5/6 can be repeated if desired. Howard Cheng, as per http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers an update to your computer's buggy and outdated BIOS is available (2.11). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command: sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette . Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. As well, you don't have to create a new bug report. Once the BIOS is updated, and the information above is provided, then please mark this report Status Confirmed. [Bug 1496210] [NEW] multipath-tools lacks the default settings for IBM 2810XIV storage system
Public bug reported: ---Problem Description--- multipath-tools is lacking the settings for IBM 2810XIV storage system Specially, the lack of queue_if_no_path is problematic on PowerVM LPM (live partition migration) operations, because I/O errors will trigger filesystem errors, which on ext4 remount the fs in read-only mode, by default. Please incorporate this upstream commit in 15.10, 15.04 and 14.04: 864162b08067d3e55d52996846d10a046956c6d6 Add default values for IBM XIV Storage System. ---uname output--- Ubuntu 15.10, 15.04, and 14.04 ---Additional Hardware Info--- IBM 2810XIV Storage The upstream commit applies cleanly on 15.10 (0.5.0-based) and 15.04, 14.04 (0.4.9-based). ** Affects: multipath-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Taco Screen team (taco-screen-team) Status: New ** Tags: architecture-ppc64le bugnameltc-130558 severity-high targetmilestone-inin1510 ** Tags added: architecture-ppc64le bugnameltc-130558 severity-high targetmilestone-inin1510 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1496210 Title: multipath-tools lacks the default settings for IBM 2810XIV storage system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/multipath-tools/+bug/1496210/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
