Re: [Bug 1087534] Re: [regression] Corrupted blurred overlays

2013-04-14 Thread Alex Elzenaar
Is there any obvious issue with just disabling the blur by default, or
is there a reason we can't?

[Bug 1127615] Re: Kernel 3.8.0-6 breaks stuff

2013-02-20 Thread Alex Elzenaar
I updated the kernel to 3.8.0-6 with the Ubuntu update manager and I
don't have linux-image-extra installed. The linux-image-generic package
is at 3.8.0-5 and it doesn't look like it was updated.

[Bug 1101075] [NEW] Unread messages in sub-folders not shown in app badge

2013-01-17 Thread Alex Elzenaar
Public bug reported:

When there are unread messages in sub-folders of Inbox, the number is
not added to the number in the unread messages app badge on the
launcher.

For example, if there are 3 unread messages in the Inbox and 3 in sub-folders
of the Inbox, only 3 are shown on the icon.
If there are none in the Inbox, but some in sub-folders, no badge is on the
icon.

I found the solution (in Quantal):

 1. Go into System Settings
 2. Appearance
 3. Change Theme from Ambiance to Radiance
 4. Change Theme back to Ambiance (if so desired)

 Indicator menus now display properly.

[Bug 1025170] [NEW] Thunderbird menu not showing as global menu

[Bug 1024083] [NEW] messaging menu and user menu theme broken

2012-07-12 Thread Alex Elzenaar
Public bug reported:

What is expected: the messaging menu should conform to the Ambience theme and
display using a dark grey background and light-coloured text.
What actually happens: the messaging menu appears with a light background,
light text and dark dividers.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Load the Unity shell
   2. Open the messaging menu or the user
menu

Note: Before updating to 12.10 I was using Radiance theme (light
coloured) and after updating switched to Ambiance. It may be not visible
if directly updating using ambience.
