Public bug reported: recently installed ndiswrapper from repos. dlink-dongle is plugged in, driver installed. no wlan0 shows up, even though ndiswrapper -l shows driver installed/device present messages. so i unplugged and replugged the dongle which led to a kernel oops. reproducable every time. [ 1116.564000] usb 4-4: USB disconnect, address 10 [ 1122.916000] usb 4-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 11 [ 1123.788000] hub 4-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 4. Maybe the USB cable is bad?
