[Bug 349943] Re: Screen blinks randomly on external monitor
I have a very similar behaviour on my i7 PC with two Benq monitors: 23" vga and 24" dvi. Dvi one can blink several times in a row or not to blink for some long time. Haven't found any consistent pattern about it. I am running Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 that I have upgraded to 16.04 recently. Problem was from very beginning and continues after upgrade. ** Attachment added: "diag.zip" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/349943/+attachment/4664401/+files/diag.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/349943 Title: Screen blinks randomly on external monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/349943/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 368862] Re: unclutter default idle time is too short
Even a 3 seconds is too short. It should be about 5 to 7 seconds if keyboard doesn't used at this time. While browsing I'm bring mouse over the link to see it's destination in the bottom of Chromium window. Destination hint shows a shorten form of url for a first few seconds, if url too long. This shorten form often enough because Chromium tries to show most significant parts of url. But I've to wait a few seconds when I want to know exact url. Hiding pointer by unclutter turns off url hint making me unavailable to see exact url. -- unclutter default idle time is too short https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368862 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
