[Bug 178525] Re: no available bluetooth services

2008-01-07 Thread Henrik Brink
I also have 0.14-0ubuntu2 of bluez-gnome...

There's also something else strange, although I dont know if its
connected. When I reboot my computer now, the mouse is not trusted
automatically, but when I activate it, it appears in the bonded devices
list, but doesn't work. I really have to do sudo hidd --search every
time I reboot.

[Bug 178525] no available bluetooth services

2007-12-24 Thread Henrik Brink
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth

On Hardy Test 1 and 2 there are no bluetooth services in the bluetooth
preferences dialog under the services tab, making it impossible to pair
with my bluetooth mouse in a GUI like I did in Gutsy.

The services are however installed, and in a terminal, I had to manually
do:

hidd --search

to get i to work.

Please let me know if I should provide you with some more information.

[Bug 178529] volume control applets defaults to CD

2007-12-24 Thread Henrik Brink
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

The volume control applets defaults to CD on my Lenovo 3000 V100,
requiring me to choose either PCM or Speaker as default device before
being able to control the volume of normal playback from the applet.
This is of course not very serous, but since Ubuntu is all about Just
Working, it would be nice to default to something usable, like new to
linux users would expect.

My sound card is:

$ lspci | grep -i audio
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition
Audio Controller (rev 02)

Please let me know if I can provide you with anymore useful information.

[Bug 152927] Re: Rhythmbox fails to start from Coherence segmentation fault

2007-10-17 Thread Henrik Brink
Oh, I managed to resolve the problem.

Aparently this behaviour came from the fact that I had installed the
Elisa media center from Fluendo's Ubuntu archives, and the elisa-extra
package installed the python-coherence package as well. With this
package installed, Rhythmbox aparently would not start. I just removed
this package, and I can now hear my music again.

So I guess the bug is not in Ubuntu, but rather the Fluendo packages.

[Bug 152927] Rhythmbox fails to start from Coherence segmentation fault

2007-10-15 Thread Henrik Brink
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

As the title says, Rhythmbox no longer starts on Gutsy. The terminal
output is this:

$ rhythmbox
WARN coherence okt 15 12:55:57 Coherence UPnP framework
version 0.4.0 starting... (coherence/base.py:156)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I've tried reinstalling rhythmbox and python-coherence, with no result.

This looks like a problem with the UPnP library, but Rhythmbox should
still be able start.

[Bug 88992] Re: Ricoh SD card reader does not work, loading mmc_block and inserting makes kernel go BOOM

2007-06-21 Thread Henrik Brink
I can confirm that nothing happens when I insert a SD card in a Lenovo
v100 on kernel:

$ uname -r
2.6.20-16-generic,

and Ricoh hardware:

$ lspci | grep Ricoh
0a:01.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Ricoh Co Ltd Unknown device 0832
0a:01.1 Generic system peripheral [0805]: Ricoh Co Ltd R5C822
SD/SDIO/MMC/MS/MSPro Host Adapter (rev 19)
0a:01.2 System peripheral: Ricoh Co Ltd Unknown device 0843 (rev 01)
0a:01.3 System peripheral: Ricoh Co Ltd R5C592 Memory Stick Bus Host Adapter
(rev 0a)
0a:01.4 System peripheral: Ricoh Co Ltd xD-Picture Card Controller (rev 05).

In dmesg I could not find anything with Ricoh in it, but if I grep for
sdhci, this shows up:

$ dmesg | grep sdhci
[ 21.552000] sdhci: Secure Digital Host Controller Interface driver
[ 21.552000] sdhci: Copyright(c) Pierre Ossman
[ 21.552000] sdhci: SDHCI controller found at :0a:01.1 [1180:0822] (rev
19).

Can I give you any more information? It looks like it should work, and
maybe I just need to mount it manually, but I dont know where to look.

2007-04-27 Thread Henrik Brink
Hello again

Suddenly, everything (regarding this bug) is working as espected in
Feisty. The Print button is now enabled on all network printers, and it
prints just fine in epiphany, evince and other apps using GTK printing
API.

Can people confirm this? Do you see what I see?

Regards,

Henrik

[Bug 66379] Re: evince does not enable print

2007-03-12 Thread Henrik Brink
Hello

I have the same problem. Evince and Epiphany doesn't enable the print
button for most of the printers. It only appears on 1 out of 30 network
printers (the only one using an ip address in the iip address instead of
a host name. Dont know if that can have anything to do with it?)

Other programs print just fine (testet in Gedit and the printer
configuration test thing).

When I select one of the printers that doesn't work, so the Print button
stays disables, evince prints this to the terminal:

** (evince:5852): WARNING **: Error result: HTTP Error in GET Success

Dont know if that tells anyone anything?
