That sounds impressive ;) Our usual test object if anjuta scales is the anjuta project itself which is currently about 150k lines of code but it is pleasant to know that it works for others, too and we might want to come back to offer. In general if you have any suggestions etc. it is easier if you directly file them in GNOME Bugzilla (shortcut in anjuta: Use Help-File bug) because more developers are reading the bugs there and I don't have to upstream them manually. Basically Ubuntu is shipping an incompatible version of glade with anjuta as anjuta 2.x has never been tested with glade 3.8.x but instead we concentrated on anjuta 3.0 + glade 3.10. For Anjuta 3.0 you need parts of the GNOME 3.0 stack but you don't need a full GNOME 3. Btw, anjuta doesn't use any dedicated glade menu, instead you can use the Edit menu as with all other editors. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779711 Title: Anjuta's glade plugin causes strange behavior -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 779711] Re: Anjuta's glade plugin causes strange behavior
This can happen sometimes if the minimal size of the widgets inside the anjuta window is bigger that the minimal horizontal/vertical size. As most of the widgets have a vertical scrollbar it usually happens in horizontal direction. This confuses the window manager to act in weird ways. However, I don't know which widget is responsible in your screenshoot. I would be great if you could check if this still happens with anjuta 3.0 (available from the gnome3 ppa) as there have been huge changes especially in the glade plugin. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779711 Title: Anjuta's glade plugin causes strange behavior -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

No, non of the other GNOME3 modules should be required. As I said, if the new gnome-terminal is installed we might inherit some of it's settings but if it isn't there it won't matter. [Bug 545224] Re: Anjuta crashes with segfault after assert Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_path_next: assertion `path != NULL' failed
Thanks for reporting this bug. Could you please add detailed information on how to reproduce this? And I would be great if you could install the debugging packages for libgtksourceview and libgtk. [Bug 489503] [NEW] libgdl 2.28.2 is broken with client-side windows (gtk+ 2.18)

[Bug 406268] [NEW] Unable to lock admin directory when automatic update is in progress
Public bug reported: When the update-manager comes up automatically (once a week) and I click on install updates then it claims that it cannot do that know because another packaging application is running. I took me some time to find out that at this exact moment Ubuntu (Jaunty) install the security updates in the background (as configured) and a such blocks the package management.
