 You can't, see comment 35.

I know X cant use key codes 255. What I meant was isn't there a way
can I remap them so for example the Wordprocessor key report
wordprocessor and not battery?

  ENV{ID_VENDOR}==Logitech*, ATTRS{name}==USB Receiver, RUN+=keymap
 $name logitech-wave-cordless

and you need to create a new /lib/udev/keymaps/logitech-wave-cordless

.Wave-keymap.test.txt . Please note that you only need to include the

 Could you try this?

Can I add the above udev rule just below the one in 95-keymap.rules or
should I replace it?
The ATTRS{name}==USB Receiver should that be
ATTRS{name}==Logitech USB Receiver as the name from lsinput

[Bug 215035] Re: Many special keys on Logitech Wave keyboard don't work

2009-10-14 Thread Jonas Norlander
Done!
Lets see what we got... ATTRS{name}==Logitech USB Receiver looks to be the
one to use.
Most of the keys works with keymap and reports the right key. Keys that don't
report anything is:
Switch window, Gadgets and Battery (i don't think battery sends a keys. What it
do is report the battery status with a led on the keyboard).
Music and Media Center keys both report same scan code maped to media.
Some of the keys in X that did report a key before (but wrong) don't give
anything now, but i guess this is the right way to go anyway?

I attach the files I have edited and using now.

[Bug 215035] Re: Many special keys on Logitech Wave keyboard don't work

2009-10-12 Thread Jonas Norlander
For some reason it don't work for me. I have double checked that i got the
right files and in the right place and I have tested from a console under KDE
and when started in recover mode.
jo...@tor:~$ /lib/udev/findkeyboards
USB keyboard: input/event3 (I only got one keyboard so this is some error)
USB keyboard: input/event5

sudo /lib/udev/keymap -i input/event5
Under KDE I only got a result for the normal keys and some of the Fn+fx keys
that did work before. In the recovery mode i get ^@ for the Fn+fx keys and
nothing for the other special keys like zoom, pictures and music.

How should I proceed?

[Bug 254559] Re: Can't scan more then one target in already open KlamAV

2008-08-17 Thread Jonas Norlander
In your 1.) if you select a new file from within your already started KlamAV
(not a new one from the service menu) and scan that it will not scan your new
selected file but the file you selected and scanned from the service menu, and
no matter what new file you selecting in KlamAV it will always scan the file
you started KlamAV with.
Thats is a bug for me, not critical just annoying.

[Bug 160260] Re: flac folder missing when browsing audiocd

2008-08-16 Thread Jonas Norlander
I got this problem in 7.10 and still got it in 8.04. It's a shame that
nothing has happened in nine month, status still incomplete and not
assigned to any.

[Bug 254559] [NEW] Can't scan more then one target in already open KlamAV

2008-08-04 Thread Jonas Norlander
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: klamav

If i scanning a file from the konqueror service menu (Actions-Scan with
KlamAV) it will scan that file/folder OK, but if i close that tab and
selecting a new scan target in the Launcher tab it will only scan the
original target no matter what i select.

Expected behavior: Scanning the new selected files/folder.
What do work is if i don't close KlamAV and selecting a new scan target in
Konqueror it will scan the new target in KlamAV.

Kubuntu Hardy
KlamAV 0.42
ClamAV 0.92.1

[Bug 254559] Re: Can't scan more then one target in already open KlamAV

2008-08-04 Thread Jonas Norlander
Perhaps i didn't explained it right. I don't want to run several
instances i want to be able to do a new scan on a other file/folder in
my already running KlamAV (started from Actions-Scan with KlamAV in
Konqueror).

If i start KlamAV from the menu i can select a file/folder that i want
to scan in the file-tree in KlamAV, press scan and it will scan the
files/folders i selected then i can select a new file/folder press scan
and KlamAV will scan my new selection. That don't work if i start KlamAV
from the service menu in Konqueror no matter what i select in the file-
tree and press scan it will only scan the file i selected in Konqueror.

If one is not supposed to select a new file to scan in already running
KlamAV (started from the service menu) there should be some visual aid
that tell it can't be done like disable/hide the Launcer tab or disable
the scan button.

[Bug 247841] [NEW] PicasaWebExport kipi-plugin is broken

2008-07-12 Thread Jonas Norlander
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kipi-plugins

The PicasaWebExport kipi-plugin don't work to upload any pictures to a
picasaweb album. It's a known bug and is supposed to be fixed in 0.1.6-beta1. I
propose the fix to be backported to kipi-plugins 0.1.5.
I'm using Kubunty Hardy (up to date)

From a mail from the Digikam-users maillist:

this have been fixed in current kipi-plugins 0.1.6-beta1.

2008/7/12 **
 Hi Guys,

I had to upload some photos to Picasaweb. The plugin launched, connected to
the server seemingly successfully (the plugin never gives any feedback
regarding interaction with the server). I created a new album sucessfully
(saw the operation had worked via Firefox), but the album dropdown remained
blank. I tried uploading photos anyway, the progress bar window popped up,
but never went anywhere, and none of the photos got to the server (again
 checked thru Firefox).

I am using Digikam 0.9.3. on KDE 3.5.9, Kubuntu Hardy, Kipi libraries 0.1.5

I know I should write to the plugin maker, but has anybody on the list had
similar or any experiences with this plugin?

[Bug 223534] [NEW] /dev/dvd and /dev/cdrom symlink removed in Hardy

2008-04-28 Thread Jonas Norlander
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: udev

I guess this is udev related.

After i upgraded my Gutsy box to Hardy i saw that my dvd device that used to be
on /dev/hda was now on /dev/scd0.
And the usually default symlinks /dev/dvd, /dev/dvdrw and /dev/cdrom didn't
exist instead i got this symlinks:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2008-04-28 08:59 /dev/cdrom3 - scd0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2008-04-28 08:59 /dev/cdrw3 - scd0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2008-04-28 08:59 /dev/dvd3 - scd0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2008-04-28 08:59 /dev/dvdrw3 - scd0
brw-rw+ 1 root cdrom 11, 0 2008-04-28 10:59 /dev/scd0

I have only one dvd drive and it's master on the first IDE port. Used to be
/dev/hda.
For me Kaffein and other xine program stopped work as they could not open
/dev/dvd.

[Bug 223534] Re: /dev/dvd and /dev/cdrom symlink removed in Hardy

2008-04-28 Thread Jonas Norlander
Tracked down the cause to this to the /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-cd.rules.
With the upgrade to Hardy and a new kernel
my DVD drive moved from pci-:00:04.0-ide-0:0 to
pci-:00:04.0-scsi-0:0:0:0 so new rules was created.

Removing /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-cd.rules and reboot will recreate the
file with default udev rules and the
cdrom, cdrw, dvd and dvdrw symlinks will be restored and pointing to the right
device.
