[Bug 182473] Re: rtl8187 drops connection
I have to confirm this bug. I'm using a Toshiba Satellite Toshiba L350-107 (Model PSLD0E) This is the chip info: IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11a/b/g) On 8.04 I had to manually download the linux drivers and install them, they worked quite well (except the frequent disconnect) On 8.10 these drivers were in the kernel, but now I get disconnected after a second or too and it nearly never comes back. [Bug 221582] Re: Anjuta code autocompletion does not work on Ubuntu Hardy 8.04
I still experience this problem in Intrepid. I have even tried installing from SVN, autocomplete still won't work. [Bug 234882] Re: Network configuration is not behaves gracefully when using static IP and switching from roaming mode to static IP.
Confirmed. I'm unable to set up a static IP address in network-configuration. Also, when I set up a subnet mask, I enter it correctly, but the tool automatically changes it ti 24 I don't know if that's right or not, but if it confuses me, it'll confuse a lot more people. [Bug 289079] [NEW] Opening personal folder from Locations requires root password
Public bug reported: Trying to open your Personal Folder from the Locations menu will prompt you for your root password. This happened to me ever since I've been running the alpha of 8.10. [Bug 207723] Re: Evolution will not authenticate on Exchange
I've been running Intrepid for many months now, but I still have this problem. I know our webmail uses the ISA proxy thing. I know I have to use a domain in front of my username. When I don't, it spews out a lot of white lines in the terminal and takes 2 minutes to tell me it failed. (Could not connect to server. Make sure the URL is correct and try again) When I do use the domain in front of my username (w2k\) it immediately tells me it failed, but a bit more hopeful: Could not find Exchange Web- storage system. [Bug 210894] Re: Bluetooth-applet crashes when connecting keyboard with passkey
At that time I was using the Beta of Hardy Heron, but things have taken a turn for the worse since. Even after removing every trace of my keyboard mouse, I can't even pair the mouse anymore. It shows up in the list of the bluetooth-dongle in the list of the input-services (even 3 times - some kind of glitch that happens from time to time) And without a mouse I can't pair the keyboard either, as I need it to push the enter passkey button through one of those libnotify-bubbles. If you take a look at the screenshot I added you can see, in the first bluetooth-properties dialog, that there the mouse is lsited 3 times. In the other dialog you can see that I have trusted the mouse. (When I move the mouse it also gets a connected icon, but the cursor doesn't move) As you can see I also tried to add the keyboard. ** Attachment added: Screenshot of the bluetooth-properties dialog http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14089972/Bluetooth%20-%201.jpg -- Bluetooth-applet crashes when connecting keyboard with passkey https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/210894 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 210894] [NEW] Bluetooth-applet crashes when connecting keyboard with passkey
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bluez-gnome I can connect anything to the machine just fine. My mouse doesn't need any authorisation, but they keyboard does. To get an authorisation request (through libnotify, apparantly) to pop-up I first need to press a few keys on the keyboard. But sometimes the notify-bubble will disappear instantly, sometimes it won't. When you're finally able to push the Enter Passkey button the resulting dialog mostly also crashes instantly! I have no way to connect my keyboard now... Oh, not to mention that it's VERY hard to type numbers in the authorisation request WITHOUT A KEYBOARD! Maybe a diall is needed in the dialog, so that people can type in the numbers through there. (Right now I'm cutting and pasting 1234 in it, should it work ...) ** Affects: bluez-gnome (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Bluetooth-applet crashes when connecting keyboard with passkey https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/210894 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
