Public bug reported: Binary package hint: debian-installer It's easy to reproduce, just get alpha-5, and hit Forward on the "Where are you?" screen. I'm having a hard time figuring out why on earth aren't the Region and Zone fields preseeded like they used to be, based on locale chosen in the first installer step. It's not even consistent with the rest of the installer behaviour, because it preseeds the keyboard layout choice based on the locale. It does not matter if any vendor is currently selling such netbooks or not. I don't think this is a reasonable condition upon which it should be decided whether to support 800x480 screens or not. My notebook is no longer produced, does that mean we should drop support for it? Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gajim Since Gajim has been fixed to utilize the new actionless notifications of Ubuntu one cannot just click on the notification bubble when a message is received to open it up. One needs to click the notification area icon to open up the roster window, find the person who sent the messege on the roster and click that contact to read the message. [Bug 340202] [NEW] [jaunty] unable to change translation of the desktop file entry
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: synaptic I've tried many times to change the title of the desktop entry of Synaptic, but it looks like the change is not honoured by the system. The correct translation should be "Menedżer pakietów Synaptic", but the packaged one is not changing and it's always "Synaptic Menedżer Pakietów". [Bug 334446] Re: Remove gnome-pilot from Ubuntu
This tool should be either removed from the default installation or replaced with a generic synchronization utility, not only for PalmOS devices, but also for Windows Mobile and Symbian OS devices. We don't have such an utility, so the obvious thing to do is to remove it. PalmOS is a meaningless feature over here in Poland.
