[Bug 936679] [NEW] After update to kernel 3.2, from 3.0, can't boot from raid
Public bug reported: Using update-manager -d to upgrade my 11.10 to 12.04, the kernel fail to busybox initramfs. In the busybox, I can't see my raid drive. Using kernel 3.0 instead of 3.2 give the same error, but it was working before upgrade to 3.2. Using the old 2.6 kernel from 11.04 bring me to a workable environement, so the issue is probably around the kernel or the dm-raid45 module. ** Affects: linux-kernel-di-amd64-2.6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/936679 Title: After update to kernel 3.2, from 3.0, can't boot from raid To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-kernel-di-amd64-2.6/+bug/936679/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Same issue with mint 7. Same or worst with Sidux (but it is a different driver). Gonna have to try etch lenny to see if this bug come from debian. [Bug 69370] Re: Kubuntu specific - Locale problem in text consol
Installing Ubuntu, all fine. Making apt-get install Kubuntu-desktop break it again. Try on a different computer. As I defenitly prefered Kubuntu and using it in localised french, I'll make a lot of other try.
