[Bug 411542] Re: [upstream] OpenOffice.org 3.1 Impress Very Slow due to AA
When I experienced this behaviour some weeks ago in OOo 3.2.0 (in Fedora 12), I got rid of the slow responses by renaming the /user folder in ~/.openoffice.org/3/ (e.g. to user.old). However the behaviour is back now and I am not sure if doing the same renaming thing is working this time. [Bug 368007] [NEW] Weekly crashes in Intrepid Ibex: Monday mood?
Public bug reported: A strange feature here, where it seems my fully updated Ubuntu 8.10 laptop happens to crash mostly on Mondays. Seriously. Other days (Tue- Fri) it's fine. On previous Mondays I thought it might have to do with problems in waking up after suspending, but it also happens after a clean shutdown, total inactivity (of the laptop) over the weekend, and a clean startup on Monday. [Bug 239231] Re: cannot name workspaces on hardy 8.04
I can't set names when compiz is active, and can when visual effects set to none. Then however when setting visual effects again, I only see the name of the first workspace ('mail'), even when switching to, or working in, other workspaces. Hovering over the other workspaces at bottom-right of the screen only results in a pop-up saying that the current workspace is 'mail' (even if it isn't). I have a similar problem in that Ubuntu (8.10 up-to-date) sometimes forgets the layout of my external/USB keyboard (UK layout while the laptop's keyboard is Dutch). This happens after say a night of idleness (don't know if this is related to idleness though).
