[Bug 849216] Re: [Thinkpad T520] Displayport nonfunctional
Here is my Xorg.0.log I am able to run nvidia drivers when using the discrete graphics settings on bios. Nvidia settings is able to detect the monitor, however no image is displayed. The monitor also seems to think that the cable is not connected. I am using nvidia-current package. Also it seems brightness can't be controlled using the binary nvidia drivers. ** Attachment added: Xorg.0.log https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/849216/+attachment/2613383/+files/Xorg.0.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/849216 Title: [Thinkpad T520] Displayport nonfunctional To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/849216/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

--proxy-server for me works fine they are slightly different syntax chromium-browser --proxy-server=proxyhost:proxyport environment is http_proxy=http://proxyhost:proxyport; I have the similar problem on Firefox. [Bug 849216] Re: [Thinkpad T520] Displayport nonfunctional
Anybody else had a successful work around? I have a T520 w/ nvidia also. Display port works on Win7. I tried to also set on the bios to use discrete graphics and nvidia binary drivers. Still does not work. I am using 11.10 on it. Anyone knows if the docking station will use a different path to DVI port? Although the dock seems to be costly especially the one for the quadcore ones. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/849216 Title: [Thinkpad T520] Displayport nonfunctional To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/849216/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 151111] Re: No Sound after Resume on some HP Laptops
I have a 6910p, it works alright since Hardy. I am now at Intrepid. I get occasional problems with pulseaudio when my uptime is about weeks old. I tend to just kill the pulseaudio deamon to fix it. You can just search google for ubuntu 6910p there are a couple of guides including mine, although for Intrepid there is not much to do. [Bug 121653] Re: [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume
For the resume problem have you guys edited your /etc/default/acpi- support ? With my nx8220 (ati x600) I had to set the following : POST_VIDEO=false SAVE_VBE_STATE=false for it to resume on ati (oss) driver. fglrx driver already froze on suspend. I just sold my nx8220 and now have a 6910p (ati x2300) using radeonhd drivers. I also had to edit my /etc/default/acpi-support for resume to go through.
