[Bug 1689825] Re: gnome-keyring not unlocked on boot
I can confirm that removing the dbus-user-session and reverting a workaround (calling the gnome-keyring-daemon --replace --foreground) solved the issue. There was no xdg-desktop-portal or xdg-desktop-portal- gtk packages in my case. I suppose the dbus-user-session was installed with the flatpak. In my case, the problem appears also for the new clean user. [Bug 828756] Re: getting connection is untrusted warnings
@Ken VanDine: Hi Ken, according to comment #20, it would seem, that upgrading to libp11-kit (0.6-0ubuntu2) fixes the problem. However, I've this version installed and this bug still manifests in empathy. gnome- keyring is at version 3.2.2-0ubuntu0 by the way. Do you have any idea, what might be the problem? [Bug 531419] Re: gtk_file_chooser URI opening broken
Hello, thanks for comment, I was afraid my report just faded away. I've upgraded to Natty and made a little research on my own. The bug is still there. I've tried three different programs: gedit 2.30.4 evince 2.32.0 file-roller 2.32.2 All behave the same in regards to sftp access. Consider I have a ssh account at sftp enabled server. Case A: There is no active connection to the server, as per gvfs-mount -l. I start the program, choose File Open and type following into address bar: sftp://server/home/user/file then hit Open button. The open dialog box stays numb. Neither error dialog pops up, nor error message is printed to console. Case B: There is no active connection to the server, as per gvfs-mount -l. I start the program with argument sftp://server/home/user/file like this: gedit sftp://server/home/user/file Program starts, pops up password dialog. When confirmed, it opens the requested document. Suddenly, server appears mounted as per gvfs-mount -l. Case C: Server is mounted as per gvfs-mount -l. I start the program without any arguments. Go to File Open and enter again the full URI of my document. Open dialog still stays numb. However mount is present in the left-side panel. If I use mouse to open my document (click mount point and locate and select it), it happens so. I would expect, that entering URI would either open the document and handle mount process for me, or display some reasonable error/warning. I hope this helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/531419 Title: gtk_file_chooser URI opening broken -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 127173] Re: strange Xorg screen blanking control after resume from suspend to disk
Yes, it's still an issue for me. I recognized that this problem appears not only after resumming from disk - it appears also after nornal boot. Sometimes it takes a long time before problem appers (about 1 hour), sometimes problem appears after short while. I also recognized, that if I enable DRI for my graphic card (01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M6 LY) system becomes unstable and if it gets under load for a while it hangs. Thanks that I had to disable DRI in Xorg configuration. But problem with blanking screen appers always - if DRI is enabled or disabled - so I think, that DRI problem doesn't influence blanking problem. Now I use Kubuntu 7.10 and problem still lasts.
