[Bug 1053369] Re: Crash on login

2012-09-26 Thread Pierre Poulain
Well, I have the same behaviour and changing the theme did no help (I
have trythe default theme, Faenza and Propheticon13. Same thing... the
"email icon" appears at login and is funcional for about 10 to 15
seconds. Then it crashes after all my other indicators have loaded. I
not know if it is related, but it happends after the Skype indicator and
the "everpad" one are launched (they are the 2 last to be launch). If
you need more info just ask

[Bug 1053369] Re: Crash on login

2012-09-23 Thread Max Liebkies
Sorry to spam the comments section: I "solved" it by changing the theme. I had
the Faenza-Ambiance iconset activated which is missing some icons (esp. for the
indicator-messages and indicator-power). No icons, no display. :-)
Just change your theme (in appearance) to something other than you want to use
and then back to your favorite theme. This will most likely "fix" this.

[Bug 1053369] Re: Crash on login

2012-09-21 Thread Max Liebkies
Affects me too. On login the message indicator is displayed (and
functional) for approx. 10 seconds. After that it vanishes without even
apport popping up.

.xsession-errors doesn't seem to contain anything specific to that.
