[Bug 1232523] Re: Default keyboard layout for Dutch is wrong (regression)

2013-09-28 Thread Pjotr12345
** Description changed:

Ubuntu Saucy has the wrong default keyboard layout for Dutch users:
almost all keyboards sold in the Netherlands have the U.S. English
keyboard layout, and not the Dutch (Nl) layout.

The default choice for Dutch users should be US International with
variant International (with dead keys). This variant is important,
because in Dutch there are words that contain letters with accents.

This is a regression: see this old bug report from 2007, when it was fixed:
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/console-setup/+bug/129982
+
+ Note: strangely enough, the keyboard layout is right (namely USA Intl)
+ when you interrupt the boot process of the DVD and choose your settings
+ manually. When you choose Dutch then, and then press F3 for keyboard
+ layout, the right keyboard layout is preselected.

2013-09-28 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Johan Ehnberg, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number

Also, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional
upstream developers to examine the issue. Please do not test the daily kernel
folder, but the one all the way at the bottom. Once you've tested the upstream
kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this
bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For
example:
kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.12-rc1

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next
to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please
remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

As well, please remove the tag:

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's
Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your
understanding.

Re: [Bug 1158267] Re: Regression: Broken (click-through) window decoration on some maximized windows

2013-09-28 Thread Anand
You can wait and see.

I do not think there should be any problem.

In any case, this repo has version which is claimed to have fixed this
issue.
I have a laptop too which has 12.04 and had used this kind of an
experimental PPA and it is working well so far.

Good Luck,

BTW, check out the gala window manager, amazingly fast and lovely smooth
animations.

 nasty bug is gone.

 Bug description:
I have an issue with compiz (compiled yesterday from launchpad, so
0.9.9.0) on my notebook with openSUSE 12.3 and KDE 4.10.

The window decorations break on maximized windows. I can not click any
button. Instead the click goes trough to the desktop.
   The windowborder is also broken.
On the right side of the screen I can see a thin line of my desktop. A
 screenshot is attached.

Funny: This is not only happening to mozilla windows but to some
others as well: Dolphin and Filezilla for example.

The konsole, however can be maximized without a problem!

I've started the kde4-window-decorator from console. Here is it's
   output:

   First: About 30 times this:
   +
   QPainter::begin: Paint device returned engine == 0, type: 2
   QPainter::end: Painter not active, aborted
   +

Window decorations are working and intact. Then: when I open Firefox
 maximized:
   +
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
 Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty)
 Resource id: 0x2000142
   +

The resource id changes from time to time.

   Here are some hardware specs:

   Athlon Dualcore QL 64 bit
Nvidia GeForce 8200M G (with nvidia drivers 310.40)

   OpenSUSE 12.3 with latest updates.
   Qt: 4.8.4
   KDE: 4.10.00 release 1

The rest of compiz is working great, by the way. A crash here and
there when activating many plugins but I could configure everything
   quite nicely.

Thank you guys - for this wonderful project.
I hope we can find the reason for this issue.

[Bug 574944] Re: ath5k phy0: failed to wakeup the MAC Chip

2013-09-28 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Anibal, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number

Also, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional
upstream developers to examine the issue. Please do not test the daily kernel
folder, but the one all the way at the bottom. Once you've tested the upstream
kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this
bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For
example:
kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.12-rc1

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next
to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please
remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

As well, please remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's
Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your
understanding.

[Bug 1171003] Re: 041e:4065 Creative VF380 Live Webcam not working

2013-09-28 Thread Ross Gammon
Thanks, I had tried wineconsole cmd but it just said file not found. Very
helpful message that:-)
So, using unetbootin and installing FreeDOS on a USB stick, I managed to flash
the BIOS and not brick my machine.

Now the output of sudo dmidecode -s bios-version sudo dmidecode -s
bios-release-date gives:
P01-A4
03/05/2010

Running Cheese still ends up with a black screen. hwinfo --usb and
lsmod give pretty similar results to the original report.

[Bug 1232528] [NEW] Samsung Series 9 NP900X4C-A04US lid state not detected in ubuntu 13.10.

2013-09-28 Thread mluser
Public bug reported:

I have had no problems with suspend on laptop lid close for over a year, using
12.04. But since my upgrade to 13.10 I no longer get any lid state messages.
cat /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state
always shows state: open.
In 12.04 my keyboard backlight never worked, and now in 13.10 it does. I also
used to be able to put the laptop to sleep by pressing the power button, but in
13.10 that is not working either.
Everything else is working perfectly, except for the lid state changes.

On my way to 13.10 from 12.04 I did upgrade to 13.04 and lid state
change was working properly, but bluetooth was not, so I decided to try
13.10. Bluetooth works fine now.

[Bug 1207487] Re: Brightness Controls work but brightness doesnt change

2013-09-28 Thread Sukarn Maini
Update -

# ls /sys/class/backlight has three listings
acpi_video0 acpi_video1 intel_backlight

# cat /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/max_brightness
976

# echo 100 /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness

bash: /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness: Permission denied

# sudo -s

root# echo 100 /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness

This last command worked and my brightness was changed successfully. I
tried other values too, and they all seem to work. I didn't try going
beyond the max_brightness value, of course.

Is there something else I could try that would help in narrowing down
and / or fixing this bug?

[Bug 1231115] Re: Please sync tilda 1.1.8 from Debian unstable

2013-09-28 Thread Lanoxx
Hi,

here is a summary of the most important changelog entries:

* Fixed an issue which caused tilda to show a grey window on certain window
managers.
* Install files to pkgdatadir instead of datadir to fix a bug in the debian
package.
* Update Makefiles to allow a better building of the package on Debian.
* Made some minor changes to the build files to make package bulding easier.
This includes no more silent builds and enabled maintainer mode.
* Added multi-monitor awareness. The wizard now has a new drop down in the
appearance tab that allows to choose the monitor. Tilda is now constrained to
one monitor and automatically adjusts its size to the new monitor when the
selected monitor changes.
* Added an option to respawn the terminal if the last one was closed. Options
are
- Close tilda
- Open new terminal
- Open new terminal and hide
* Tabs are movable now with a hotkey
* New color scheme 'zenburn'
* Added CSS selectors for the termial window and the wizard, which makes it
possible to a styles to the tilda tabs without affecting the wizard.
* Fixed the choices of what to do when a custom command exits. The first choice
is now Drop to the default shell, the previous choice was to hold the
terminal open, which made the terminal unusable because it had no running shell
anymore.
* Port to GTK+3, VTE-2.90, GtkBuilder
* Use Modern Autotools
* Fixed compilation warnings und runtime errors
* Use glib i18n functions instead of separate libarary
* Removed some very old migration code for the config file

For the complete summary please refere to the full changelog or read the
git commits. I should mention that I have verified that the package is
buildable on Ubuntu, since this is what I used to create the Debian
package.

[Bug 1232530] [NEW] Can't unlock encrypted filesystem on Macbook Pro because keyboard doesn't work on Kernel 3.11

2013-09-28 Thread ibob63
Public bug reported:

I've upgrade from Ubuntu 13.04 - 13.10 Final Beta.

I am using a Macbook 5,1. The disk is completely encrypted. To unlock
and boot the system I need to enter a password immediately after Grub.
However, when booting from the 3.11.0 Kernel, the keyboard doesn't
appear to work or the system has hung. Therefore, I can't enter a
password and hence cannot boot the laptop. There is also something odd
on the screen. When you have to enter the password there are two colons
like this : : which should not be there.

Anyhow, the Linux Kernel from the old version is still installed. If I
select the Kernel 3.8 then the keyboard works and I can unlock and boot
the computer.

[Bug 1226141] Re: evince reports apparmor denials

2013-09-28 Thread Guy Schlosser
Has this been fixed or attempted? I am a blind user, who depends on the
Orca screen reader to access my documents. Currently I have to disable
apparmor to get Evince to work accessibly. Is this how it's gonna be
for 13.10?

[Bug 1213123] Re: 045e:009c [H87I-PLUS] Microsoft Keyboard Elite for Bluetooth dead keys problem

2013-09-28 Thread Maeda
apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected

** Description changed:

In Precise with 4.60 version of bluez I can pair my keyboard and mouse
perfectly, but not with the 4.98 that is in Precise by default.

=== The problem is that dead keys of my keyboard (I mean -L or R- CTRL,
ALT, SUPER, -L or R- SHIFT, ALT-GR) doesn't work with my current
motherboard (whether application I opened, console included). It does
work correctly with other motherboards. The new motherboard is an 1150
  Haswell one from Asus.

What I can say is :
1/ When booting, my BIOS recognize perfectly the dead keys of my keyboard,
meaning that the bluetooth dongle or the motherboard is not directly concerned.
2/ When doing a second installation of Ubuntu, same problem.
3/ When trying the option 'keyboard layout' (whatever layout I choose), I
don't see those dead keys flashing, meaning the system doesn't react at all
when pressing them.
4/ By chance, I found another keyboard (same model, same brand), same
problem, meaning the keyboard is not concerned (it works on the older
motherboard, then it was poor chance that the keyboard broked just before
reinstalling).
5/ Tried the setxkbmap command (with sudo or without), nothing's better
6/ Tried the xmodmap command, I see the 0x codes for Left SHIFT, all dead
keys are there (see attachment)
7/ Normal keyboard (no wireless) works perfectly
8/ Put the dongle on an other usb slot doesn't change anything
9/ Command xev doesn't makes changes when pressing dead keys.

[Bug 993981] Re: Remmina Fails to Load rdp Plugin (remmina-plugin-rdp.so)

2013-09-28 Thread flickerfly
Here is my series of commands that solved my problem. Unfortunately, I
seem to have lost the version of xfreerdp that works with RDP Gateways.
I may have to just do without a GUI and write up a bunch of little
scripts for each connection so I have that feature available.

  dpkg -l |grep freerdp
  sudo apt-get purge freerdp-x11 libfreerdp-plugins-standard libfreerdp1
libpam-freerdp lightdm-remote-session-freerdp
  sudo ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
  sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/freerdp*
  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get remove remmina remmina-plugin-rdp remmina-common
  sudo apt-get install remmina freerdp-x11
  sudo killall remmina

Done, see files just before this message.

It's simple : Bluetooth won't activate itself, then impossible to pair

Do you see something wrong on files ?

Thanks.

2013-09-28 Thread Anibal
Christopher, actually this bug occurs specifically with my home internet
conection. I run the script you sent, and post it later.

christopher.m.penal...@gmail.com escribió:

Anibal, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
 /daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

 apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number

Also, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional
upstream developers to examine the issue. Please do not test the daily
kernel folder, but the one all the way at the bottom. Once you've tested
the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically
you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the
 following tags:
 kernel-fixed-upstream
 kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For
 example:
 kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.12-rc1

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon
next to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As
 well, please remove the tag:
 needs-upstream-testing

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following
 tags:
 kernel-bug-exists-upstream
 kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

As well, please remove the tag:
 needs-upstream-testing

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's
Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your
 understanding.

[Bug 1232413] Re: Lowlatency kernel hangs at boot, even before any text output

2013-09-28 Thread Johan Svensson
Ok, this is funny, isn't it... It took me a day of sadness, but just
disabling every option on the Security page in the BIOS settings did the
trick. Now my computer is at high risk of being abused by evil free
software.

Problem solved.

[Bug 1227333] Re: Enigmail 1.4.6 is not compatible with Thunderbird 24.0, needs updating

2013-09-28 Thread Matej Kovacic
I have Thunderbird 24.0 and Enigmail 1.5.2-0ubuntu0.13.04.1 (I am using
64-bit system), but Thunderbird disabled Enigmail.

So this fix is not working.

Sorry guys, encryption support is very important since Snowden
disclosures, but unfortunately it seems Ubuntu just don't care enough.
And this is not the only example. For instance, it took a lot of time to
fix the bug regarding encryption and decryption of files
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seahorse-
nautilus/+bug/1168685), and it is still not finally fixed yet.

Seriously - security should be considered with higher priority.

[Bug 577514] Re: Fn keys brightness controls on laptop not working

2013-09-28 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Timmi, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number

Also, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional
upstream developers to examine the issue. Please do not test the daily kernel
folder, but the one all the way at the bottom. Once you've tested the upstream
kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this
bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For
example:
kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.12-rc1

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next
to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please
remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

As well, please remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's
Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your
understanding.

** Description changed:

- This is likely the same issue as #550479
- https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/550479 the symptoms
- are 100% identical. I am creating a separate report rather than updating
- the other as suggested by apport-collect.

[Bug 1232539] [NEW] settings don't automatically update in fresh install with /home in separate partition

2013-09-28 Thread Israel Dahl
Public bug reported:

I had expected the settings to update automatically on a fresh install.
However when I booted into my freshly installed Ubuntu 13.10 (still officially
unreleased) the settings were wacky.
This is because, although it was a fresh install I keep my /home partition
separate from the / partition where Ubuntu is installed.
There should be something in the installer to allow me to:
a.) upgrade and keep my /home partition the way it is while updating the
nessicary files on my /home partition
b.) have a script run in the background while installing to make sure I end up
with a sane configuration once installed.
c.) using a different directory for each new install, or renaming the old
directories though this is less desirable than the previously mentioned
solutions.

I did install Ubuntu Studio and later install ubuntu-desktop (as I like
the huge preinstalled AV software and lowlatency kernel, but preferr
Unity as my DE).

I preferr to do a fresh install each time, rather than upgrading because
this minimizes cruft and the time required to do an upgrade.

It might be worth examining whether or not it is more beneficial to
offer an option to install with a separate /home partition anyhow, as
this can minimize data loss, and make things easier for fresh installs.

I work around this bug by running:
`rm -rf .config .cache .gnome .gnome2 .gconf `

This seems like it should be pretty simple to run a script that converts
the config files, though I am not extremely proficient at scripting in
bash, etc...

[Bug 1232536] [NEW] rhythmbox will not let me rip the second cd of a double set plus did not label the track on disc any different the disc1 and keeps saying disc 2 is already ripped but i checked its

2013-09-28 Thread JAMES VALESH
Public bug reported:

extract only worked on the first cd , the second cd of the double when
played is the correct tract of disc 2 ,but listed the same tract of disc
1 with rhythmbox filing system despite the different length of tract in
the same order ,other then disc 2 has only 13 tract and disc1 15 .
anyway its getting annoying since i keep being told ii already got the
first disc and since the time of tracts is listed same as the the time
on which disc it tells me is disc 1 and same tracts listed in order of
disc 1 but different songs i can't put to my files is getting old ! i am
going try deleting the first disc on my files and then trying ripping in
reverse disc2 and then disc1 .oh there should be a way of telling where
the album info is coming from its wrong and what a double cd if i was
able this bullshit would have been over yesterday and this note most
likely would not even be .thanks for you time should be easy to fix just
let rhythmbox know there sometimes cd's that two come in the package
with different songs on both cd's ,once that is understood this should
be easy to fix ,disc 1 of live insurrection halford was correct just get
the info to disc two and all the other cd's with a second disc out ,and
put a over ride system so people can rip disc twos to file to get
different tracts rhythmbox claimed i already had ! thanks bye hope you
get this embarrassing i would feel if involved with rhythmbox design
fault fixed .

[Bug 791561] Re: shpchp cannot reserve mmio region

2013-09-28 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Xwarman, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number

Also, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional
upstream developers to examine the issue. Please do not test the daily kernel
folder, but the one all the way at the bottom. Once you've tested the upstream
kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this
bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For
example:
kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.12-rc2

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next
to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please
remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

As well, please remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's
Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your
understanding.

[Bug 1217950] Re: SSH public key isn't created in vagrant cloud images

2013-09-28 Thread Marcelo Alvim
There's a new batch of machines (from Sep 28, 2013), and I was able to
import them on VirtualBox and verify that they have the previously
missing files. I could then ssh into my imported machine without
problems.

When I do vagrant up, though, the files are not there, which is very
weird, but I'll look into that a little better.

[Bug 580768] Re: Ubuntu 10.04 blacklist Intel blocking Nvidia

2013-09-28 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Sudo Bash, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number

Also, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional
upstream developers to examine the issue. Please do not test the daily kernel
folder, but the one all the way at the bottom. Once you've tested the upstream
kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this
bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For
example:
kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.12-rc2

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next
to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please
remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

As well, please remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's
Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your
understanding.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Reviewing your dmesg attachment in this bug report it
seems that there is a problem with your hardware. I recommend
performing a back up and then investigating the situation. Measures you
might take include checking cable connections and using software tools
to investigate the health of your hardware. In the event that is is not
in fact an error with your hardware please set the bug's status back to
New. Thanks and good luck!

[Bug 1232516] Re: The terminal gave me this bug info

2013-09-28 Thread Ubuntu Foundations Team Bug Bot
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a
specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu
in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source
packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs
about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your
bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage.
You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1232516/+editstatus and add the
package name in the text box next to the word Package.

[Bug 1232546] [NEW] [i915g] False GPU lockup IPEHR: 0x7d8e0001

2013-09-28 Thread axion
Public bug reported:

The X-Server did not actually freeze up, only when windows are
deactivated ( aka a window that is minimised ) the system doesn't redraw
the background of the X-server. See the added example screen shots.

ps. I am voluntarily running Gnome-fallback, newer gnome versions all
stifle my productivity.
