[Bug 1001579] [NEW] Incorrect file transfer progress bar
You have been subscribed to a public bug: When I am transferring data from my PC to USB storage device, the transfer rate shown during the process is completely incorrect. So, also the progress bar. Please check the attached screen shot: It is showing the transfer rate to be : 31.5MB/sec while my USB drive only supports maximum of 7MB/sec. Similarly the progress bar is shown as 100% completed but internally still it is transferring the data and took almost another 1 minute to finish. Till the end of this process I am clueless whether the transfer is still going on or there is some hang. Even though it's not a blocking issue but surely an usability issue. [Bug 1001579] [NEW] Incorrect file transfer progress bar
You have been subscribed to a public bug: When I am transferring data from my PC to USB storage device, the transfer rate shown during the process is completely incorrect. So, also the progress bar. [Bug 1535318] Re: deprecation of python-support
@Graham Sorry about my mistake--I had looked at the wrong release. I've fixed upstream Lernid, tested, and released it as 1.0.2. I built it for xenial only. I see you have MOTU privileges. [Bug 608712] Re: In Ubuntu font, autohinted distance to diaeresis varies between letters
I noticed this with a different font using the native OpenType/CFF (.otf) hinter. [Bug 1238194] Re: keyboard doesn't work to enter password with encrypted partitions ubuntu 13.10 saucy
Hello, I was using previously Linux Mint and then I had the idea that I'll change my system to Ubuntu Mate. After the installing and rebooting I faced immediately the same problem as the guys here. I can only login if I choose the kernel in the recovery mode. I'm using at the moment the newest kernel 4.4.0-040400. I can't imagine why I have this problem. I've tried to add "ohci_pci" to the initramfs-tools/modules but with no effort. I'm using a Razer Deathstalker Chroma as keyboard and I wonder if there is missing support to my keyboard? It is connected to a USB-Hub together with my Mouse and the Hub goes to a USB 3.0 Port on my Motherboard. Maybe I have to connect my keyboard directly to my PC? Can someone pls help me? This problem is still actual and I guess a lot of people are still suffering. I guess this problem could be solved easily but someone shall take a look at it and help us users to solve it. We want to be better then Windows and therefore we have to do something Do not just say Linux is better, safer and whatsoever, help the people which are suffering on a stupid simple problem. [Bug 1405084] Re: Scrolling takes 5 seconds holding down arrow key at 100% zoom
robegue, I'm not convinced we have an actionable issue here that needs to be addressed via scheduling resource now. This is how to have a few seconds in scrolling the attached picture is expected here. Also, it matches the speed with which Office does the scrolling. Hence, for now, this is a Won't Fix Wishlist request, focused only on the attached document, pertaining to the underlying algorithms regarding image presentation to be faster, more efficient, etc. which will be addressed over time upstream. If more information is presented that provides a materially new insight, then this is a different matter, and the Status may be reconsidered. Despite this, the discussion may still continue regarding this issue. Thank you for submitting this report, and working together with me on this. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => libreoffice (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Low => Wishlist ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1405084 Title: Scrolling takes 5 seconds holding down arrow key at 100% zoom To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1405084/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1537395] [NEW] ubuntu-mate-welcome does not install virtualbox -- unmet dependenciies
Public bug reported: I selected VirtualBox and clicked the green install button from within Welcome. Got screen indicating that there were missing dependencies.
