It's my fault, I hadn't created the other thread by the time I posted this.

Please, ignore this thread. All shall discussed in stand-alone threads
(Plymouth will also have its own thread when necessary).

The third one looks the best in my opinion, looks very professional.

I do wonder if you could maybe make the header of the ubiquity installer
match the colouring from the logo and maybe a little smaller.

I just think the heading is to large and in my opinion takes the focus
from the actual applications and details (but that's just me).

Either way it looks great!

I'm working on the Slideshow and I have a question for you, guys. Which
proposal do you think works better:

   - http://cl.ly/image/3O2z3a3i330I (similar to Ubuntu's. It allows to
show a bigger area, but details are lost).
   - http://cl.ly/image/1g0p3P1s381s (like Ubuntu's but showing in real
   scale).
   - http://cl.ly/image/0T0j2M3M443k (similar to Xubuntu's, I think this
one looks great and allows us to show a big enough area of applications and
stuff) Notice that this one would require to change a bit the CSS code
(the screenshots are actual code, except from the images, which are
   post-edited), but it shouldn't a big deal.

Feel free to make any suggestion.

Cheers.

That should actually be quite easy, if you start with the ubuntu

tweaking of alignments.

Hey guys,

A new Artwork/Graphics(Ali
gave me the idea) is on the way. The idea is to have our very own
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IconsPage page (please, note that IconsPage have
our logo and the roundel in different sizes), where all kind of graphic
resources will be found, that is PNGs in all sizes, SVG sources, logos,
social media icons, pictograms (for which I want to create a guide to
create new ones, just in case), etc.

This is what is marked in the Artwork page as the Artwork Creation Kit (a
SDK paraphrase :D). I want to make sure that high quality logos and graphic
resources are available to everyone who wants to use them.

Cheers.

Why not do it now?

http://lubuntublog.blogspot.ae/2013/07/lubuntu-1310-wallpaper-contest.html

We can do the same too :) never too late ;)
This will:

1- Bring more attention to the project
2- Attract more volunteers to join
3- Spread the team work
4- Make Ubuntu GNOME Artwork even better

Thanks :)

Re: Ubuntu GNOME Artwork

2013-07-31 Thread Alfredo Hernández
I've been making the new branding of Ubuntu GNOME, the artwork is somewhere
in the mailing list, but we are still waiting for a last approval from the
GNOME Board.

If you want, I can add the artwork to the wiki page section you've just
created.

Keep your good work, mate.

Cheers.
