  Some games (I tried using Portal and Tomb Raider 2013, both native
  games) don't go full screen correctly (even configured for it). I
  tracked down the problem to a regression on package libmutter-7-0. The
  problem occurs with latest version, 3.38.1-2ubuntu1, but when I
  downgrade the package (and also the package gir1.2-mutter-7) to
  3.38.1-1ubuntu1 the gomes went full screen normally.

Public bug reported:

Some games (I tried Portal and Tomb Raider 2013) don't go full screen

I'm using the 5.10-rc4 and the problem still occurs. Seems (but I'm
probably wrong) the controoler is using another MAC address.

I noticed a very strange behavior where the controller loops between
connected and disconnected. It was a known problem with Xbox One
controller and to fix that you needed to disable ERTM, but I already did
it (I also have a Xbox One Controller).

I had this problem these days. I wasn't upgrading, I was just migrating
my /home user data around on ZFS. To fix I did the same thing, deleted
the ~/.config/pulse directory.

I agree "Provides: python" must be provided by Python 2 and not by
Python 3. 3rd party packages must depend on python3 explicitly. The only
question I have is: have you a deadline to include this package? I'm
running a newer kernel (5.6) and I must update Virtualbox, but it
depends on python package and for now there is none package to provides
it.

[Bug 1868444] [NEW] python-is-python3's "Provides" field

Public bug reported:

I tried to install Steam official package (from the website, not from
repository, which worked fine), but the package depends on "python"
package, so I installed "python-is-python3" package which creates the
symlink for python command but doesn't provide the dependency, so my
ideia is if the package could have a line "Provides: python" so software
like Steam itself could be installed (but not necessarily run)
correctly.

I not search things all the time, but when I do I use find-pipe-grep. Not
because "locate" is an inferior solution, not at all, just a matter of
habit.

A lógica está certa, mas já que o primeiro mês é "1", as execuções
acontecem nos meses 1, 4, 7, 10 e 1 de novo.

Esse site é um grande achado, mas ele "fala" de uma forma estranha as
datas: "At 06:00 on day-of-month 22 in every 3rd month." me fez entender
que ele executaria em todo 3º mês, março, por causa do "every 3rd month",
quando na verdade ele executa nos meses 1, janeiro, 4, abril (três meses
depois), 7, julho (que seria feita a primeira execução no caso do colega) e
assim por diante, mês 10 e depois mês 1 de novo. (:

Acho que é independente o fato de apresentar problemas e estar no fim da

[Bug 1816294] [NEW] libldac packaging

Public bug reported:

libldac is a library made by Sony BUT WITH A PERMISSIVE LICENSE (Apache 2.0) to 
support LDAC audio compression format, so I think there is no legal problems to 
package it.
This guy made a dispatcher (https://github.com/EHfive/ldacBT) to support LDAC 
with Bluetooth devices. So would be nice to package together or not.
The goal here is to have in the main repository, not as PPA, the components to 
this project: https://github.com/EHfive/pulseaudio-modules-bt
The libldac is the most controversy part, but Fedora Legal thinks it's OK to 
package.

Lembrando que soluções como Dropbox e Google Drive são soluções de
sincronismo e não de backup. Sincronismo é quando tu quer ter o mesmo
arquivo acessível em vários lugares. Já backup é um cópia do arquivo que tu
quer ter caso aconteça algo com o arquivo original. Em pequena escala é até
ok usar Dropbox ou Google Drive para backup por que caso tu delete um
arquivo por acidente tem como recuperar, mas em um ambiente empresarial se
precisa de uma solução mais especializada.

IMHO, Snap Store is more like an app store (like Google Play Store),
than a regular package repository (archive.ubuntu.com, a PPA or a
third party repository).
I think some ground rules and some policies are necessary, but we must
avoid burocracy and give freedom to developer, so he/she can create
what he wants. So things like licensing should weaker enforced. The
idea is: think as an app store, not a package repository.

Tenta colocar o comando route que tu deseja no arquivo /etc/rc.local e
marcar com permissão de execução. Pelo menos no Ubuntu 17.10 esse
arquivo é executado durante a inicialização.

Em tempo: Digitar só 27 também vai. Quando tu aperta Ctrl+Shift+U
aparece a letra "u" minuscula sublinhada dizendo que é para digitar o
código unicode da tecla. Então se entra 0027 (ou só 27) e se aperta
enter que esse código some e aparece o apóstrofe.

Boa tarde Luciano,

Tu pode apertar Ctrl+Shift+u, soltar essa combinação de teclas e então
digitar o código do apostrofe (que é 0027). Depois disso basta apertar
enter que aparecerá o apostrofe.

There's some nice tools to enable a faster SSD drive as cache for slower
HDD drives, tools like bcache, flashcache or dm-cache. The idea here is
enable support to use (one of) this tools to enable cache during
installation. I think support for servers would be better used than
support for desktops, but may be in the future when SSD become cheaper
desktop also can get benefits from this tech.

I entered on BIOS and set the option "Fastboot" to "through". I would

My US$ 0.02: I think it's nice discuss this in the community hub
because everyone can read the discussion easily. Mailing list is easy
too and I love email, but may be some people could think lots of
emails are anti-productive and annoying. For this people a nice web
interface is better.$

This message just occurs to me when I set the "Fastboot" option on BIOS
to "Minimal" instead of "Through". I think the Linux isn't ready yet for
Fastboot feature.

I'm using Ubuntu 17.10 on a i7 Skylake and using the "pci=noaer"tip the
message goes away. Now I need to find out what this option means to see
if I'm losing something.

Understood. I think we need to do is ask some tough questions to find
a way to finally make available the firefox-esr.
Someone already asks a question I think it's very tough: how firefox
and firefox-esr can live together? Maybe just a different namespace
with /etc/alternatives symlinks. Actually could be a good idea because
allows more integration with Firefox Beta and Firefox Nightly provided
by Mozilla Team. Mozilla Nightly is in a different namespace, but Beta
updates the stable version which isn't a good way since I can't test
beta without lose stable.

Apesar de ser uma questão voltada para CentOS, a resposta é multi-distribuição.

Caso o CentOS use Systemd, tu pode definir o que inicia antes do quê.
Por exemplo tu pode definir que o MySQL só carregue depois que outro
serviço esteja carregado. Em linhas gerais é isso.

Oi Marcelo,

Esse link parece mostrar um workaround:

Ele diz que se deve comentar umas linhas no arquivo
/etc/kernel/postrm.d/zz-update-grub . mas caso funcione tu tem que
rodar o comando 'sudo update-grub' manualmente para remover os kernels
antigos. Se o link que eu passei estiver certo esse comando não está
funcionando.
