update: this doesn't happen when I plug in a usb mouse before suspend. I useto get a beep about 5 min. after boot and then after resume spurious irq 7 disabling ... usb did not work after resume but does continue to work when I plug in a usb mouse before suspend. I think this is linked to a kernel bug I reported a long time ago, but still yet to be fixed (low priority) due to being model specific (buggy bios?). this is annoying though. also keyboard doesn't freeze actually ... just don't know the shortcut keys. -- [Gutsy] after resume synaptics touchpad goes haywire. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133831 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 88683] Re: [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2()
um... this was a very random kind of bug. I did successfully start jackd. what I mean is ... this is difficult to reproduce. I cannot honestly say that I know the events that led to this happening. I was just repeatedly starting and stopping jackd. whenever the blue light on my unit stayed on no further connection could be established. so I used gscanbus to reset it. I can't see any pattern to reproducing this bug. I think timing may have somthing to do with it, also. i.e The time between turning on the unit or reseting, and starting jack. also jackd fails if input/output channel numbers are not specified. -- [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2() https://launchpad.net/bugs/88683 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
