Re: Alpha 1 coming up...

2013-07-01 Thread Anthony Wong
Hi all,

I checked the page
https://dev.launchpad.net/Translations/LanguagePackSchedule and don't see
Saucy is in the schedule.
As the translation focus has now been changed to Saucy, are language packs
going to be built soon?

Thanks,
Anthony

2013-07-01 Thread Milo Casagrande
Hi Anthony,

at the moment there is no langpack schedule for Saucy.

I recently resumed discussion about this with David: we should be able
to move things forward, and hopefully resume planned langpack, also
for Saucy.
Ciao.

Re: Alpha 1 coming up...

2013-06-26 Thread Pierre Slamich
Good News, There's now a new DDTP branch for Saucy with around 3000
additional strings. The import for your language might not be fully
finished, but will most likely be this afternoon.
Meanwhile, I'm refreshing the DDTP Bogus project templates for all those
eager to use automated suggestions or fuzzy. Note that some new strings are
actually old strings with some typos corrected (the French team reported a
slew of Debian Bugs), so fuzzy will be helpful there.

https://translations.launchpad.net/ddtp-ubuntu/saucy (Saucy is now the
default series for the DDTP as well, in line with the previous announcement
for Ubuntu)

Cheers,
Pierre

Re: Alpha 1 coming up...

2013-06-24 Thread Pierre Slamich
I've just updated https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-translations and made the
announcement for Saucy there BUT that's not the official switch you're
asking for. I'd be tempted to say let's switch now (translations are shared
across releases) and I can do the switch BUT I'm relatively new to the
Ubuntu translation coordinators team.

Cheers,
Pierre
