Jacob Hemstad, if you are saying the enablement stack doesn't work for whatever reason, that would be a bug in the stack, which you are welcome to report a bug against the stack package. I'm not sure I understand how the Enablement Stack will help me. The touchpad is detected and functioning correctly in Precise 12.04. Jacob, I reported in the other bug that this was fixed for me with a clean install of 13.10. However, I've just realised that Dell replaced my motherboard the day before I did the install. The replacement motherboard is on the A01 BIOS, whereas the previous board was on A02. Can you confirm which BIOS you're running? Interesting. I am on BIOS Version A02. I can get the touchscreen to work if I install the config-usb-hid- synaptics-touchscreen_1_all.db from Dell's downloads: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/xps-13-9333?driverId=4NTWRosCode=1204AfileId=3334721637languageCode=ENcategoryId=CS So it would seem that this is an issue with the A02 BIOS and Ubuntu 13.1.
