I run pCP 6.0.0-rc1 (6.0.0 since a minute ago!) and LMS 8.0.0 - 1583405189 @ Thu Mar 5 with Material Skin 1.4.5 on the same RPi3 and I am surprised how extremely fast it is! I have a local time server on my network, which perhaps explains why I don't see this. PS Big thanks to everyone involved for the fantastic player and for the very smooth upgrade path! magnuslsjoberg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111787 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

I have the keyboard "shortcuts" / "commands" mapped to my universal remote using Flirc and the keymap you linked to. It works perfectly well, but unfortunately I have a slightly different requirement: My piCorePlayer is connected to my main TV and I want to navigate the UI itself, like I would do on the older Apple TV. I want to use the arrow keys to navigate between all items (buttons) that can be pressed or clicked on a touch screen or computer. If there would be like a mouse pointer, I want it to skip back and forth between the button with help of the arrow keys and then be able to press enter to click on that button. This is how I navigate Netflix, Plex, Youtube and whatever else I use on my TV screen. Similar to some well-designed website where you easily can navigate with the tab key and don't need a mouse. Is that at all possible? magnuslsjoberg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103330 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Jivelite for piCorePlayer
Is it any way to navigate the Jivelite with tab or arrow keys alone? I have my piCorePlayer connected to my TV and it all works very well except the fact that I would like to navigate the UI like I do with Apple TV and similar, i.e. to use the arrow keys to move between elements on the screen, these would be "lit up" and I would Enter/OK to select a function. To map special keys to special functions seems to be the only thing that works but it just gets confusing with programming so many keys on my remote.
