does it change settings pr folder ?, or is it change some setting

is it custom to the end user what to change ?, it must never ever change
envelope sender, never never !

did you just want Followup-To pr folder, it would be the way to go

if thats already in progress in code base, all is ok

I thought this changes The From header, and this is expected behaviour
from this, and users were given the option ( button next to the From
field in RC) to enable or disable or set From: manually themselves. I
had forgotten I had this plugin enabled :)

2013-11-27 Thread Simon Loewenthal

I would not use smtp-auth because my mail server is simply relaying a
mail to them.

I think I noticed this happening when my mail server sends mail to
ext-mx01.kolabsys.com, because mail is accepted if sent via
ext-mx02.kolabsys.com.

Here are the headers from the email that was bounced, and here we see
the From set to users@lists.roundcube.net upon reply, and now I know
exactly why this happens!I have a Roundcube plugin installed called
custom_from.

 https://github.com/r3c/Custom-From
When replying to an e-mail sent to you through an address not in your
identities list, plugin will automatically fire and set From: header
to the address the original e-mail was sent to.

X-Sender: users@lists.roundcube.net

This explains everything :)

The problem is almost certainly on your end.

Your mail server is not logging to its SMTP routing host when trying to
send mails.

Fix your configuration.

Re: [RCU] ext-mx01.kolabsys.com lists.roundcube.net delivery problems encountered

2013-11-27 Thread Simon Loewenthal
Hi Kaz,

my last email agreed with you!

RC liss mail server expected an smtp-auth because of my emails forged headers,
because they were added by a RC plugin called custom from.

This behaviour by RC mail server should be expected and was correct. My email
was at fault. The RC plugin custom from worked as expected.

Thanks, Simon
