postgresql connections with 2 workers just after 1 user logs into the calendar

Subject: [SOGo] SOGo2.0beta5 installation on CentOS 6.2

Hello

I successfully installed SOGo 1.3 and tried to go further and install SOGo2
according to the manual. As I have CentOS 6 a skipped
the installation from source part and installed following packages from nightly
builds:

Mar 01 19:01:04 Installed: perl-Parse-Yapp-1.05-1.el6.rfx.noarch

Mar 01 19:01:27 Installed: samba4-4.0.0-1.alpha17.centos6.5.i686

Mar 01 19:01:32 Installed: openchange-0.11.20120301.sogo-1.centos6.i686

Mar 01 19:01:32 Installed: sogo-openchange-backend-2.0_20120301-1.centos6.i686

Then I went to the chapter Configuration and in the first step I got a
problem because such path:

openchange/sogo/samba4/source4/

doesn't exist in my system. I tried to find something similar to this but I
couldn't

I guess that this manual was based on installation on Ubuntu.

Am I doing something wrong or for RHEL6 installation of openchange and samba
look different?

If yes - is there any reference how to do this?

Best regards

Bartek

Yeah, I tried to find some settings that could be related. There are quite
some interesting settings in calendar.registry.HASH; for example there is
a boolean property readOnly which is false for every calendar and I just
don't understand why. I am still investigating this, but setting this to
true for all calendars but the ones I can write in seems to help with
creating new events in the wrong calendar...

[SOGo] Vmware ESXi

2012-03-07 Thread John Adams

Hi

I want to run the Zeg appliance on Vmware esxi 5, the instructions given
on the site do not correspond with my vsphere client. This is waht we
are told to do:

From the GUI client of VMWare, click on the /File/ menu and select
/New.../. This will bring up the new virtual machine assistant. Click on
/Continue without disc/.

There is no continue without disk option.

Am I right in thinking that the VMware reffered to is VMware server or
workstation and not esxi

Esxi Has the file deploy ovf template option.

When I load the file it says unsupported hardware type virtualbox 2.2

I gather that I can edit the xml file which defines the machone and
change this from

vssd:VirtualSystemTypevirtualbox-2.2/vssd:VirtualSystemType

To:

vssd:VirtualSystemTypevirtualbox-2.2/vssd:VirtualSystemType

Thanks for the hint - I did use CalDAV and CardDAV for Android - and yes they work well - butthats neither an option nor the question.

In my opinion neither Android nor iPhones are business Capable when it comes to Email, Contact or Calendar Management - So I put my galaxy back into the desk drawer and did not miss it a single second having my oldfashioned Blackberry or Nokia E72 with me that I can trust on and where I can surely rely on having some battery left after 8 hours out of office ;-)

Hallo All,

Suddenly the rhel/centos repositories became filled with alle the rpms.

I don't know who fixed it; but thanks!

It could be more convenient, but user should insert sogo url into
sogo-integrator prefs.

Another problem is the sync with addon and server.
I don't know what happen if addons are updated by mozilla's servers and
sogo server rameins an old version.

What developers think about?

[SOGo] TB don't remember shared addresses book in composing mails

2012-03-07 Thread Relu Parfene

Hello all,

I have a small network mostly with Win7 and a few XP Pro. I installed
SOGo and all seems to work just fine, except one annoying thing. Two
workstation, one 7 (my laptop) and one XP don't remember shared address
book when composing new mails. I can set it manually from
Tools/Options/Composition/Addressing and then select Shared Addresses
under Directory Server (shared address book is a ldap back-end) and is
working fine but after TB restart all is gone. I need to make the same
steps again after every TB restart. All other workstations works just
fine. I used SOGo 1.3.12c on Centos 6.2 and TB 10.0.2esr. Any idea will
be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Make sure you have the debug symbols installed for SOGo, SOPE and
GNUstep and when that happens, attach to a pid using gdb (for
example, pid 24369) and produce a stack trace. It'll show you where
the process has been hanging - thus the real cause of your issue.

here's a series of backtraces. All of them were made by the customer on site.
I did not have direct access. Can you tell what's the real cause of my

Hello,

multiple calendar sync is working through funambol/syncml, however, with your
E72 you will likely encounter this bug:
http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=1375
It means that events created/modified on the phone will result in a broken
reminder on the server (i.e., the server does not understand the reminder
format the mobile creates).

Multiple address book sync is unfortunately not working at all. There alredy is
a feature request for this for some time now:
http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=575

[SOGo] cannot create new contacts or events using web UI

2012-03-07 Thread Michael Gratton

Hi,

Using sogo-1.3.6-1.el5, I cannot create a new address book contacts or
calendar events using the web interface.

When hitting save on either the new contact or the new event, the result
is a generic browser connection error page, since the form is attempting
to submit to http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/[snip] rather than the
correct address of the calendar server, i.e.
http://collab.internal.xyz.com/[snip]

Everything else seems to work fine.

I am using Apache as a front end on the calendar server, and have the
following proxy config:

  Proxy balancer://sogocluster
BalancerMember http://127.0.0.1:2 retry=1 max=1 timeout=120
BalancerMember http://127.0.0.1:20001 retry=1 max=1 timeout=120

RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-url
