[SOGo] Samba Setup Help Needed !
Hi, I would like to implement the Microsoft Native Outlook Integration. However, I am facing issue with the Samba setup. After installing the samba4 and performing all the operations, below are some findings. 1. Authentication does not happen via Samba4. 2. Installed Webmin module of SOGo and found Configuration file of Samba referred is at /etc/samba/smb.conf whereas it should be /etc/samba4/smb.conf What needs to be done further so that Samba4 server and Webmin takes into account new smb.conf and not the old one? Kindly suggest. -- Thanks Regards, Devinder Singh Birdi -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] [Config] Modify From: header to add @domain.ext
Hello everybody, I'm a sysadmin working for « association Crans », an associative-based internet provider based in France. We're providing, amongst other, email service to our subscribers, and we vould like to set up SOGo as groupware. Unfortunately, we encounter a problem related to the default From header generated by Sogo. As a matter of fact, our configuration use an ldap server to authenticate users and we only store login into the mail attribute of ldap entries, such that the array field MailFieldNames filled by sogo doesn't contain any mail adresse (eg. be...@crans.org), but only login or alias (eg. becue). It's a bit disappointing, and I actually did not find any working solution to put the @crans.org at the end of the field From. Does anyone have a solution to offer ? Is it possible to concatenate the mail field with a string containing @crans.org ? Here is a pic to show the problem : http://pimeys.fr/peb/sogo_missing_domain.png Thanking you in advance for your reply. -- Pierre-Elliott Bécue signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

[SOGo] Export calender as *.ics via cron
Hallo, is it possible to export one (or more) calender directly to *.ics via a cron-job? Background: In SOGo we have a special user for our common calender management in our school. This user has (at the moment) six own calenders for different types of dates. On our homepage we have the calender from http://www.luxsoft.eu/ in read-only-mode where we could import different ics-files. So it would be nice to share (i.e. export) the different SOGo-Calenders to LuxCal via ics-file managed by a cron job. If SOGo has the possibility to do such export jobs, please show me a hint. [SOGo] Massive creation and Import Exchange and other IMAP accounts
Hello, we are ready to migrate a large ammount of accounts and data from Exchange 2010 server (emails, contact, calendars) and from a Merak Mail server with accounts in IMAP mode. After reading a lot, I wonder if there is a way to do a massive (and secure) import of domains, accounts and old emails (In IMAP mode) and emails, contacts and calendars from Exchange Server. Should facilitate a lot the migration to a system based in SOGo. Cordially Ernesto Soler New Midian esoler (@) newmidian . com -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

We would like to migrate an installation to SoGO, but there is a requirement for email archiving. Is anyone aware of a way to handle archiving that is known to work with SoGo? Thanks! Lee -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Email archiving?
Hello Lee, since the mails are stored on the imap server, any IMAP compliant archiving system should do the job, or, depending on your needs, it must/should be installed on the smtp server. Or do you mean to be able to retrieve the archived mails from inside sogo ? André Am 12.11.2012 19:25, schrieb L. V. [SOGo] Free/Busy permissions
I may be mistaken, but it seems that users must allow any authenticated user to view the date time of their personal calendar's public, confidential, and private events in order for the free/busy information to be available when inviting attendants to events. If this is truly the case, is there a way to set these permissions on all my users personal calendars. I'd like to avoid asking my users to do this and the following support requests that will no doubt ensue. Of course if there is another flag like useEventsTimeAndDateForFreeBusy, that would be great too. Cheers, Simon -- htholidays.com -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
