[SOGo] GUI trying to reach the wrong server

2020-02-25 Thread Roberto Rizzo
Hi all,

Sometimes the GUI seem not to work for some very basic task such as retreiving
addresses from the address book while typing or sending an email.

When this happens I check the browser JS console and I find plenty of blocked
CORS request to a server which is not mine:

Bloccata richiesta multiorigine (cross-origin): il criterio di corrispondenza
dell'origine non consente la lettura della risorsa remota da
https://e-aj.my.com/SOGo/so/myu...@mydomain.it/Mail/0/folderDrafts/newDraft1582625188-1/save.<https://e-aj.my.com/SOGo/so/myu...@mydomain.it/Mail/0/folderDrafts/newDraft1582625188-1/save>
 Motivo: richiesta CORS non riuscita

Sorry it is in italian, but the error message is not the issue. The point is
that the server mentioned in the error https://e-aj.my.com is not my server. I
don't know who these people are, I never typed this address anywhere in my
configurations neither in Sogo nor in Apache.

Strangely enough, this doesn't happen always but only when working on some
messages.

I tried various browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari) on various platforms
(Windows 10, Windows 7, Mac OS, Ubuntu) and the issue happens with all the
configurations, always with the same messages.
So if a message has issues, it will have issues with any browser or system.

This happens only when replying or forwarding an existing message.
Till now it never happened with a new message.

Version: 4.3.0

I tried to write to BTS but they say it is something related to my
configuration.

Any suggestion?

I’m having a similar problem with my install. Would you be able to share the
patches necessary in order to make it work?

Some time ago I finally succeeded in getting a SAML login to SOGo to work
properly. However, while I was able to login to SOGo, the necessary
authentication was not passed the IMAP server (Cyrus). During the process I
received a great amount of help from the group (AUF) whom I believe are
sponsoring the additional SAML features for 2.2.9.

According to the manual, there are two ways to handle the authentication to the
IMAP server, PAM or SASL. I'm receiving errors with both:

SASL: unable to dlopen /usr/lib/sasl2/libsaml.so.0:
/usr/lib/sasl2/libsaml.so.0: undefined symbol:
lasso_provider_verify_saml_signature

PAM: PAM unable to dlopen(/lib/security/pam_saml.so):
/lib/security/pam_saml.so: undefined symbol: lasso_misc_text_node_get_type

The help I received from AUF mentioned that the compiled versions from Inverse
did not expose the appropriate variables in order for this to function properly
(liblasso). Looking at the error messages, I'm inclined to agree.

The recommendation was to compile the program with necessary patches to expose
those variables. Could these changes be incorporated in the binary files in the
Inverse repository or would the change prevent something else from working
properly?

Re: [SOGo] Error on UI after rebuilding SOPE/SOGo

This ended up being a template access issue. My template was not readable by

Hi Eduardo,

AFAIK it's an operating system misconfiguration, SOGo has nothing to do
with it.

If you're root you should be able to su as sogo without password unless
the account is disabled or locked. Does the sogo account have a home

Re: [SOGo] spanish support problem

2012-02-16 Thread roberto
In my case, the errors occur for Mail, Calendar and Contacts, but under
 the following setups:

PC Win7 English / Sogo Web UI Spanish (Spain) : No errors
PC Win7 Spanish / Sogo Web UI Spanish (Spain) : errors
PC Win7 Spanish / Sogo Web default language - no manual election :
 errors

[snip]

So, I guess, you _do_ have errors in the WebUI, you just did not check the
 login page ;) -
After login, SOGo takes your preferences if you selected default at the
 login page.

Hi,

I think the error doesn't only apply to login. In my log I also found
these lines:

--- sogo.log ---

So as you can see the problem appears again when cfer@mydomain tries to
access other users subscribed calendars (user1, user2, etc.)

What I've found is than in our sogo database, sogo_user_profile.c_defaults

 SpanishArgentina

I'll replace it and test again.

It didn't work :-(

But WebServerResources/ckeditor/lang/_languages.js file mentions Spanish

possible it has something to do with the problem?

[SOGo] spanish support problem

2012-02-14 Thread roberto
Dear list,

Since version 1.3.11 I'm having a problem with Spanish support.

I modified language from Spanish to SpanishArgentina but SOGo web
interface is still asking for Spanish support:

sogo.log output:
---
Feb 14 12:16:09 sogod [22490]: [ERROR] [we-rm] did not find locale for
language: Spanish
localhost - - [14/Feb/2012:12:16:09 GMT] GET
/SOGo/so/myuser@mydomain/Mail//0/folderINBOX/83112/reply HTTP/1.1 302 0/0
0.297 - - 0
---

and when any user tries to reply a message through the web interface it
gets something like this:

lt;lt;missing element 'signaturePlacementOnTop' in component
''gt;gt;lt;lt;missing element 'newLine' in component ''gt;gt;
lt;lt;missing element 'outlookMode' in component
''gt;gt;lt;lt;missing element 'newLine' in component ''gt;gt;
lt;lt;missing element 'standardMode' in component
''gt;gt;lt;lt;missing element 'newLine' in component ''gt;gt;
lt;lt;missing element 'newLine' in component ''gt;gt;
lt;lt;missing element 'messageBody' in component
''gt;gt;lt;lt;missing element 'newLine' in component ''gt;gt;
lt;lt;missing element 'newLine' in component ''gt;gt;
lt;lt;missing element 'newLine' in component ''gt;gt;
lt;lt;missing element 'signaturePlacementOnBottom' in component
''gt;gt;lt;lt;missing element 'newLine' in component ''gt;gt;
---

Any idea if these problems are related to each other and what can I do to
fix them?

TIA for your help,

Hi Imo,

I added some columns to my old authentication table and created a MySQL
view to map the new fake columns to the old ones.

My biggest trouble was the authentication algorithm; I was using sha1
instead of md5, so users had to re-enter their password. I did that
through a web form.

Then I setup SOGo configuration to use the new MySQL view instead of my
old table.

it is only a workaround as it increases the time between login and
automatic logout whether you do actions or not. A real expiration
delay would start after the last clic. In our case, even if you put
ten's of appointments/events during the first 5 minutes, you will be
disconnected. The time counter starts when you login not when you have
made your last action. The above variable partially solves our problem
but it is not design for that !

Dear people,

I had the same problem with an upgraded SOGo and Debian (versions 1.3.7a
and Squeeze) respectively. I'm using MySQL instead of PostgreSQL

I added OCSSessionsFolderURL too but the problem remained the same.

At sogo.log I found this error:

for URL:

At /etc/my.cnf I found MySQL binded to a specific interface and not to

Hope this helps someone else.

 SOGo
docs don't specify a port number... should SOGo redirect this links to
 funambol?

No. The SOGo server in this context only refers to the host you are
 running the funambol server on.

I meant mobile devices setup, for NextHaus SyncJe (page 7) doc suggests
the URL http://sogoserver/funambol/ds ... but when I put this address in

miss something? Should I use http://sogoserver:8080/funambol/ds instead?

http://sogoserver:8080/funambol/ds - will show you some information
about your funambol installation - version number etc. if I remember
 correctly.

Yep; I did arrive there, that's why I suppose funambol is working ok.
Also, if I put http://sogoserver/funambol/
http://sogoserver/funambol/ds I reach funambol's web demo.

Hi Martin,

I do use Courier Imap, but I'd like users to share their folders and I
understood it's easier in Cyrus.

But SOGo manual recommends Cyrus 2.3 or newer and Debian stable includes
Cyrus 2.2, that's why I suppose some feature may not work.

Hi,

I managed to make the changes to MySQL tables (as does the script) the

Created a function as mentioned here [1] to emulete PostgreSQL's
split_part fuction.

[1] http://blog.fedecarg.com/2009/02/22/mysql-split-string-function/

If MySQL complains with the message This function has none of
DETERMINISTIC, NO SQL, or READS SQL DATA in its declaration and binary
is because you're replicating databases (log-bin activated) Tou'll have
to deactivate it first or follow this instructions [2]

http://www.ispirer.com/doc/sqlways39/Output/SQLWays-1-365.html

Below you'll find the script adapted. It doesn't prompt for the
variables, you'd have to replace them in the script.

Roberto;

Greetings!

Unfortunately, this capability doesn't currently exist within SOGo.
You can find a feature request for it here:

http://scalableogo.org/bugs/view.php?id=85

I ran into a similar issue here with our deployment of SOGo. James
Ray wrote a Perl script that would go through and pull the individual
events from a calendar and compile it into a single ICS file. You can
find his post here:

http://mail.opengroupware.org/pipermail/sogo/2009-December/004537.html

I wrote my own script in PHP to do something similar, but I don't
recommend it for public consumption, as it directly accesses the SOGo
databases via MySQL to pull the events (extremely fast and doesn't
require any authentication, but kludgey and potentially dangerous). I
can link you to a tarball of it if you're interested.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, yes, it helps a lot :-)
