I have a student group that wants to know if screening rights had to be purchased in order to screen an upcoming presidential debate live on television? They want to do a live feed in one of our auditoriums on campus. The debate would be on CNBC on Wednesday, October 28th. I'm not sure on the answer to this question. I have a professor preparing to teach a course this semester that she has only taught once before. She has asked me for help in locating any videos on the subject of "Martyrdom and Noble Death in Judaism and Christianity." She indicates that she found negligible options last time. I have a professor teaching a new course, "Bioethics, Faith, and Public Policy". She has asked me to locate introductory videos on Bioethics, and also videos on cloning, stem cells, genetic engineering (especially of embryos and children with disabilities--should they be aborted?), and euthanasia. They can be scientific in orientation, this is fine. If any video resources are available on these subjects that also discuss the topic from a religious perspective, I would be interested in those too. We have "Whither Biogenetics," but it is only 26 minutes. On embryos and children with disabilities, we have "Who Should Decide," but it is 15 minutes in duration. On cloning, we have a 31 minute film entitled "Cloning," and "After Darwin," but they sound a little dated. I know that Icarus Films has acquired the Fanlight titles and that Films for the Humanities and Sciences has quite a few but just want to hear if anyone has strong opinions on one film over another. Any and all suggestions welcomed. I have been trying to find a DVD copy of the 1999 Frontline documentary *The Triumph of Evil *to upgrade our VHS copy but I'm beginning to think it doesn't exist. Does anybody know whom I can contact to ask permission to copy our VHS to DVD to preserve it or am I crazy to think that's possible?
