Re: Unable to Login to Bank of America via Safari
I don't know if this is related or not, but there's been a bug in VO ever since IOS 8 came out that VO doesn't track buttons very precisely when exploring the screen. I see it most in the Mail app, when I touch right above the home button to land on the delete button. Most of the time if I then do a double tap, I get the reply options. To get around this, I flick left or right to make sure I'm on the delete button before double tapping. I also see this is a few other apps, but I notice it the most in the mail app, probably because I use it so much and explore the screen more than flicking left or right with this app. Like I said, I'm not sure if it's related or not, but you might try flicking left or right to make sure you're on the button you think you are before double tapping. But, if you want everything the same, go ahead and backup your iPhone, then restore that backup to your iPod Touch. If you do an encrypted backup of your iPhone, when you restore it to the touch, all your passwords should be included, so you won't have to resign-in to your WiFi etc. It is really up to you how to go about this. Re: iPod Touch 6th generation
Hi Matthew, I bought the iPod 6th Generation 128 GB primarily for my music and books because my iPhone 5s was running out of room. So I took the music off my iPhone. Because I didn't want everything on the touch that was on the iPhone, I set it up as a new device. There may very well be a separate iPad event, but look how Apple quietly and without much fuss released the sixth Gen iPod, a major upgrade and if they had planned an iPad even for October, why not do what they did last time and include the iPod then and give it a boost by making a big deal of it. iPad sales have been dropping and are continueing to do so as people realize that these are devices which easily are useful for a 3-4 year period and while Apple may make improvements and upgrades to iPads each year, they may end up being more along the line of Mac updates which sort of get rolled out more quietly and with less fanfare hence could be part of a September iPhone event. Of course this year it is likely the new larger iPad Pro is being added so Apple may very well try to make the most of it. They could of course also do so in one single event. Fopydo Scanning Stand and the full iPad
Someone asked about using an iPad with the Fopydo stand. I didn't have a chance to test it at work, so I wrote the creator of the stand and asked him. He said, no, the full sized iPad is too large and therefore too off-balance for the stand. After he gets through the project of the Book Reading Attachment, he may look at producing a stand for the full iPad. The ScanJig is supposed to work with a full iPad. My trouble when I tested it was getting the camera centered. The ScanJig stand can handle the size of the iPad, but getting it positioned so the camera was centered on the page seemed less than practical. NFL games on iPhone
I admit the subject is tantalizing but it may not be so great a revelation. While listening to the Dallas Cowboys pre-season game this evening, Brad Sham stated that the place to go to listen to the game is the Cowboys app. So, just for kicks, I downloaded the app and indeed was able to listen to the game. There are unlabeled buttons and the second from the top/left appears to play/pause the Cowboys radio feed audio. I do not know whether other team apps have this functionality nor whether this will carry over to regular season games. But, since there have been so many posts about the ability or inability to possibly access NFL content for the 2015 season, I thought I would share. -- The following information is important for all members of the VIPhone list. The Dallas app has had radio for several years. In fact before any of the other aps began to get radio. I have gone to the Dallas app for several years now for Dallas games. The first time I have had difficulty with a game feed in an app was today when the Steelers app said I was more than 50 miles away according to geosync and could not use their app and recommended the $99 app. So I use the Pro football radio app instead.
