Hi, JR.
I'd say it's about equal to BSI. I've installed BE's keyboard and will
try it as my default keyboard to see how it works in real time.

I love BSI and how intuitive it is. But it gets a little frustrating
to have to keep choosing it from the rotor as opposed to having it be
automatically there when I want to use it. And I have a tendency to
kick myself out of Braille Screen Input mode when I'm in the middle of
writing and don't especially wish to be kicked out.

Then there's that I have to turn my iPodTouch to landscape to use BSI.
This means having to dig it out of my purse, akin to Fibber McGee's
closet, to use it.

Will let y'all know how it goes.

You can access all your account information, set up bill pay and pay them,
transfer money from one account to another, take a picture of a check and

I have found it fully accessible with VoiceOver. I have even used the 
mobile deposit feature. It takes some practice to get somewhat 
proficient with it. It give some feedback if you are too close or far 
away with the camera. It announces when the picture is automatically 
taken. Frequently I work through 2 or more photo tries because it 
times out in a minute or less. Both sides of the check need to be 
taken: the front side first and then the back side. The backside 
needs to be signed in the correct area. As well, the check amount 
needs to be entered so you must know the exact amount.

All of the words in that lesson are acronyms. To fully capitalize a
group of letters, swipe right then third finger, swipe right then
third finger, then type the letters for the word.

There is the option in the app to edit a course. I'm assuming from the
reqlly quick read of the instructions that you can customize the
lessons e.g., add or take away. What you're asked to type in the
tutorial is shown, so you can read through and see what you're being
asked to type.

This came in handy for the "bad bee" example, and the sentences lesson.

Since you have the iPhone 6S I'm assuming you are running iOS 9.3.
In that case, this should not be happening.

Even though it is one of the few apps in the app switcher, try rebooting
your phone by holding the home and power buttons down at the same time for
about 8 or 9 seconds.
Release them and wait for it to reboot.

Another technique to try is to clear the RAM by holding down the power
button until it says Power off.
Release the power button and press the home button and hold it until the
phone starts talking again.
If you have fingerprint enabled on the home button, use a different finger
so it just doesn't unlock the phone.

If none of that helps, try deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Well, the top row is the function keys. They don't do much, though a couple of 
them should adjust volume, play and pause audio, rewind etc.
I've never had an issue with the escape key. If it at least doesn't activate 
the back button when there is one on the screen, perhaps it is a bad keyboard 
and you should call them about returning it and getting a replacement.

When I open I tunes, I press the control-F keys to get to the edit box, 
then I tab tto the Phone button. That lets me go through the status info 
such as phone Id and the other settings.  When I get to the bottom, I find 
the sink button.  theother status info such as aps, tones ECT. are shown as 
boxes which are not accessible.  

ON one occasion, I was able to see the aps, and their status, such as 
installed or remove, but I am not sure how I got ther.  I wonder if there 
are hot keys which will let me move more affectively arround the I-Tunes 
software.  I have considered trying to go back to an earlier version, but I 
don't think that will be an easy process. 

I have not spoken to Apple about this because I don't tink that they would 
be very happy with my attempts to load ringtones onto the phone.

Is the screen split, like some things are on one side and other things are 
on another where as on the iphone, they were all in a line, like on one 
screen? I had that problem when I tried using a regular size iPad. If the 
screen is split, I believe there is a setting somewhere where you can change 
that. It like to have drove me bonkers.

first, I could not figure out how to see all the albums of an artist. But 
then it just happened. Can anyone give me some helpful advice, or hints on 
how to use this? I know it's the screen set up that is confusing me. I 
really wish I could turn that off. I can certainly do without it. But I want 
to make the best of things.

The Amazon Bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone.

Hi.  I purchased the Amazon basic Bluetooth keyboard and everything is working 
okay except for the top row of keys.  None of them will do anything and the 
escape key won't work either.  Does anybody know how to get them to function?

I just downloaded this app today.  It's a free app that's suppose to read
you your facebook feed and play music all on the same channel.  The only

Basically to save a station you go to the genre you want you play that 
station under the station there's an add to favorites button to play the 
station you go to the play stop button there is one thing we need to ask him to 
do is to make it where you can do the double tap for play and stop and I will 
be asking him to do that as soon as I get a chance other than that the whole 
app is very very very accessible he's done a good job on that

Hi, just downloaded this app.

I have a couple of questions.

when you go into settings, there is a picker button called level meter button 
or something like that.

when you double tap it, it brings up a list, like digital 1, 2 3, and so on. it 
is set to analogue. obviously i know what digital and analogue means, but not 
sure what digital 1 through 4 means?

also, i have turned off background image, but can i turn off icons, without 
affecting accessability?

And to add to all of this, if you are a member either paying monthly or buying 
12 or 24 credits all at once, you also get access to many specials. There is a 
daily deal email which has one book a day for $2.95 to $4.95 and sometimes 
these are really good, unabridged best sellers. Also from time to time there 
are promotions which let you buy 2 books for 1 credit from a list of books or 
they maybe offer a selected list of a couple of hundred titles all for $3.95 or 
$4.95. Not long ago they had a big list of books all narrated by Scott Brick 
and all of them were only $4.95 including many of the Clive Cussler books etc. 
Audible membership has many benefits and I find that over the year I probably 
pay on average $8 or $9 per book if I factor in all the books I get for $4 or 
$5, promos where I get 2 books for one credit etc.

Audible is owned by Amazon. You can use your Amazon account sign in for Audible.
I always use the Audible.com web site though because some 
books on Amazon are MP3 downloads and not in the audible format.
The books range in price from a few dollars, to $30 to $50 and more depending 
on the length and type. Most are between $10 and $40.
Those usually cost 1 credit.
Credits can be purchased several ways:
A monthly subscription for around $15 get you one credit per month which gets 
you any 1 credit book per month.
With a subscription, you often get one other publication like the New York 
times digest. You really ought to read all the details on the audible 
subscription page.
I personally go for the Gold membership, which is $149 'per year and gets you 
12 credits to use anytime in that 12 month period. Divide 149 by 12 and you get 
your per book price.
You also get the publications like New York times digest and other little 
benefits.
Plus, if you really don't like a book, you can return it and get your credit 
refunded in a certain time period.

Ari,
Since you have the iPhone 6S I'm assuming you are running iOS 9.3.
In that case, this should not be happening.

Even though it is one of the few apps in the app switcher, try rebooting
your phone by holding the home and power buttons down at the same time for
about 8 or 9 seconds.
Release them and wait for it to reboot.

Another technique to try is to clear the RAM by holding down the power
button until it says Power off.
Release the power button and press the home button and hold it until the
phone starts talking again.
If you have fingerprint enabled on the home button, use a different finger
so it just doesn't unlock the phone.

If none of that helps, try deleting the app and reinstalling it.

I'm running KNFBReader on my 128 GB AT iPhone 6S, and have recently been
having the following issues.

I can only take 2 field of view reports before both the field of view report
button and the take picture button completely stop responding. Is anyone
else having this issue?

Something else I've noticed is that both the field of view and take picture
buttons are not as quick to respond as they used to be. Now it takes at
least a second for them to react after being double-tapped. All of these
issues happen whether KNFBReader is the only app in the app switcher or one
of a few apps in the app switcher, so I don't think it's a RAM issue. I
could be wrong, of course, though.

purchase it by going through the app though, it is not in the app store. 
Double tap on the two places I mentioned in my previous email to locate it.

Thought I would let everyone know that the recent update to Trivia Crack has
fixed the issue with the bottom tabs, they are now visible to Voicever.

I know that probably everyone has growned tired of playing this game but I
still enjoy it from time to time.

On a similar note, in the Trivia Crack Kingdoms, does the game still have
ads that appear when completing your turn in a game?  If so, is there a way
to do an in-app purchase to remove the ads?

I love that game too but I stopped playing a while ago as when the ads would
appear, some of them had no way of closing them, so I had to completely
close the app and restart.

I got it to work eventually. I went to
hootsuite.com
signed into Facebook there, and the app proceeded when I told it to sign into 
Facebook. I’m now signed into Hootsuite.

looked and the only Trivia Crack game that has an Ad-Free version is the 
original, not Kingdoms.

I would presume all capitals, and thus same procedure for each of the letters, 
including swipe, dot6, the letter.  Bear in mind that 
caps a is going to have a swipe before for capitalisation, and one after as

Hi, when you schedule the post us9ing the pages app, can you tell it
to post like every 4th Monday?  For e example, I'm trying to put when
each set of chapters and divisions meet and they Meet at different
times on different weeks and want to make each weekly post that weeks
meetings.

air radio tune app is free today

Hi folks 

The air radio tune app is free today in the appstore. I have downloaded the app 
and at first sight it seems to be very easy in use and accessible. 

However I cannot manage to save favories although it seems simple and done well 
to save a favorite for a playing station. Moreover, starting a record seems not 
to result in saving it when stopping the rec.

Are there people having good experiences with this app or should I delete it? 
The search, genres and countries tree view and selecting stations is accessible.

Looking for heart rate monitor suggestions

If anyone out there is using a chest strap style heart rate monitor, please
let me know which one you are using and which IOS app you are using it with.
Amazon has a ton of them so very hard to choose one. The app being used also
has to be VO friendly and I don't care if the app is free or paid. Any
suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Braille Easy and Capitalized Words

Hi, Everyone.
I downloaded the Braille Easy app and have managed to make it through
till the Capitalized Words lesson. Now I'm good and stuck. Can't get
past USA.

I understand that to capitalize a letter you need to swipe right once
and then do finger 3. I can manage the single capital letter all
right.

But nothing I do makes BE happy re that darned "USA" thing. Are all
the letters capitalized? (That's how I write it in Braille.) Or is it
only the first letter?

Hello all,

What helped me with more efficient input was to visualize the braille cell laid 
on its side, with dots 1 2 3 on the bottom, or facing the home button on your 
device if it's in portrait mode.
Then dots 4 5 and 6 are above that.
If I think of which fingers to use to create the dots for the first half of the 
cell, then those used for the second half of the cell, it made it easier to 
form the characters.

I still think a regular braille input is more efficient such as mBraille or the 
built-in braille screen input.

Yes, I am seeing the same issues as you and I think its got to do with 
the recent OS update from about a week ago. I never saw these issues 
prior to that iOS update. Apart from the update, that's the only thing 
that's changed on my phone.



I hear that currently KNFB Reader doesn't work on the upcoming iOSS 10, 
so the current issue you and I are seeing are probably related to that. 
Hopefully KNFB sort out the iOS 10 issues before its official release, 
which means we will not have long to wait for a fix.

the app switcher, so I don't think it's a RAM issue. I could be wrong, of 
course, though.

Has anyone else had problems with airdrop. I have to litterally have my phone 
touching my wife's phone before airdrop finds it.. I did not have tis problem 
with IOS8.
