I've heard a lot of very good things about this app. I'm wondering if
one can filter out voice over if you're trying to work with the phone
while you're recording something? I've heard people make recordings and
switch through different beds and background tracks on their phones. So
I'm wondering how this can be done using voice over? Also are there any
podcasts of demos of other blind users using this app?

Logitech K811 Keyboard and Appl Music Subscription Questions

2016-11-29 Thread Helga Schreiber
Hi all! How are you all? I have some questions. I have an apple Wireless
Bluetooth keyboard that I bought from the apple store three years ago, but
since now I have an iPod, an ipad and iphone, I want to buy a keyboard that
allow me to paired three apple devices at the same time. I heard about the
Logitech K811 Keyboard, which is similar to the apple wireless keyboard, where
can I purchase it and how much it cost? Do any stores sell it without
purchasing it online? Just wondering. And my other question, I'm considering
in subscribing to apple music, but I heard that apple music has the student
discount, and since I'm a university student, I'm interested about that. How do
I apply for the student discount? Where do I go to apply for that? Just
wondering. I will really appreciate any help, you can offer me regarding this
matter! I look forward in hearing from you soon. Thanks and God bless!

Re: [BlindTech] Toronto teen uses app to give visually-impaired a new look at the world

2016-11-29 Thread Bill Gallik
Hi All,

After reading this thread I installed iDentifi to see what was going on. The
first thing I tried was to take a picture of my left hand reaching out with all
fingers spread out. I snapped the photo and waited a couple of seconds, but
nothing happened. As was reported in this thread, it tells you the photo was
taken and then nothing. But as I was preparing to “Select A Photo” the app
reported “A raised hand in a long sleeve black shirt.” That was exactly
correct as I’m wearing one of my long sleeve black T-shirts.

This piqued my curiosity so I decided to try the ceiling fan just to see what
would happen; it reported “Dropped 4-bladed ceiling fan."

I suppose it figured the fan was “dropped” because that would probably seem
likely, but how it knew it was a ceiling fan is more than I can figure!

Then, given the problems reported in this thread, I started “looking at” photos
from my Camera Roll (most of which are pictures generated while using KNFB
Reader; iDentifi did not try to read the documents, but accurately reported the
gist of the formerly scanned documents. When encountering actual photos of
objects it was a bit “hit and miss” but I soon realized that those “missed
photos” were reported as “blurry” by the photo app.

I’m using my 128 GB iPhone 6 with iOS 10.1.1 and I suspect this iDentifi app
requires a huge amount of space to do what it does (scientists report that our
vision uses 80% of brain resources) .

I have to wonder if available space on a given iDevice may not be the critical
resource needed for this app to work properly. I plan to install iDentifi on
my iPad II, that iDevice has only 16 GB but I’m going to bed for tonight - will
be back tomorrow with results on that.

Yeah. I do't think text selection works either in Facebook. You have
to do the three-finger quadruple tap to select and copy to the
clipboard.

Re: A beginner using the iPhone

2016-11-29 Thread Richard Turner
If the factory defaults are standard, you should be ableturn on VoiceOver by
triple tapping the hbutton after you power it up.
Note, that it may spechspeak in a variety of languages when you touch the
screen after that, but just double tap and it should default to your language,
so if you are in the United States, English, etc.

You may want to get the book, Getting started with the iPhone from National
Braille Press which can be downloaded in word format, and other formats.
She walks you through from the beginning and more.

RE: How can I change my apple ID without loosing my purchased items?

2016-11-29 Thread Cris Ali
Thanks folks,
Your suggestion and advice was very helpful. I changed my apple ID email
address and things seem to be normal.
I have another question though, In iOS nine and before, I used to be able to
access parts of my iPhone as an external drive when I connect it to PC for
instance, I used to have access to the photos and videos. Now in iOS ten, I
cannot see my iPhone listed as one of the drives when I connect my phone to the
computer. Therefore, I no longer have direct simple access to the photos and
videos as I did in the past. Is there a setting to make my phone become
visible again when connected to my computer?

Cheers,
Cris

Hi Chris,

As others have pointed out it is no problem to change your Apple Id.
Essentially your Apple Id is whatever email address you used when you set it
up. The only time it would be a problem is if you absolutely cannot get back
into your old account. If you can log in then do what Pablo suggested, log in
with your old email address and password, then go to where it says "Change my
Apple Id" and register your new email address. I think you will get a
confirmation email you have to acknowledge, but it's pretty self-explanatory
once you get started.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: How can I change my apple ID without loosing my purchased items?

Hello folks,
I want to change my apple id> However, my understanding is that the apple Id
is connected to the email address. I no longer want to keep the same email
address, which means I will have to change my apple Id. The problem is that I
am afraid if I log on to my iPhone and iPad using a new apple id would make me
lose my purchased apps and books. I have already invested several hundred
dollars on these things and I do not wish to lose them, or lose access to
updates.
Is there a way of changing apple id without causing such a mess?
I appreciate your suggestions>
Regards,

Cris.

The last time I tried to use text selection on the FaceBook app, it didn't
work. After I switched the rotor to text selection, I flicked right and didn't
hear anything being selected. Totally off topic, but where are you in Florida?
I live in the Daytona area.

2016-11-29 Thread Helga Schreiber
Hi Kimber and all! How are you all? So a third finger quadruple is one way to
copy. The other way is to use text selection, which you can add it from
settings and rotor. Text selection works like this. You go to your Voiceover
Rotor find text selection, then find the way you want to paste your message.
There are options like words, characters, lines, and select all. I really
recommend lines. So once you pick the option yu want, flick right to select the
line, then flick left to unselect the line, and after you finish selecting the
lines you just need go to the rotor and find edit and then paste and that' s
it! Hope this helps some! This text selection is another method that appear in
IOS 9. If you need any help with this let me know! I look forward in hearing
from you soon. Thanks and God bless!

I downloaded this app and tried using it and haven't been able to get any
descriptions of the pictures I take. I hear the speech in the app say
loading, but then nothing happens after that. Has anyone gotten this to
work?

Anmol Tukrel, a Grade 12 student at Holy Trinity who designed an app for
blind people that describes things you take photos of with your iPhone or
iPad. (Andrew
Francis Wallace / Toronto Star) |

A Toronto teen is hoping to change the lives of visually impaired people
around the world with a new app that can identify virtually any object
with

the
quick tap of an iPhone or iPad.

Anmol Tukrel, a 17-year-old grade 12 student at Holy Trinity School in
Richmond Hill, has always been fascinated with technology, particularly
artificial
intelligence. By the time he was in grade 7, he was already teaching
himself

how to code.

Growing up, Tukrel often travelled to Pune, India to visit his aunt who
worked at the K. K. Eye Institute, a hospital dedicated to providing eye
care for
people who can’t afford it. That experience, combined with an internship
at
a startup that uses computer vision to make products for advertising
firms,

led him to the perfect idea for a Canada-Wide Science Fair project.

“I thought I could use computer vision for a more humanitarian use, and
help

visually impaired people,” he said.

Tukrel’s iPhone app, iDentifi, allows users to take a photo of virtually
any

object, and then describes that item in great detail back to the user.
People
can also take photos of text and have it read back to them, in one of 27
languages. Tukrel hopes it makes every day tasks — like picking out the
can

of
pop you want — easier for people who are visually impaired.

Jason Fayre, the head of accessibility and assistive technology at the
Canadian National Institute for the Blind,
tested out the app and, although there are similar apps on the market,
gave

it a rave review.

“I’m extremely impressed, especially that it was written by a grade 12
person,” he said. As a blind person himself, Fayre said iDentifi would
make

his
life in easier when trying to identify things in the kitchen.

“If I don’t know what a particular can of something is, being able to take
a

picture and have that information read back to me in great detail is very
useful,” he said.

It took Tukrel more than a year to develop the app, a process that
involved
months of painstaking research and enough code to fill a two-inch binder.
He

had initially planned on making his own convolutional neural network —
computer speak for the data structure used to make the a program that
recognizes
objects. Eventually, he opted to integrate existing programs.

Tukrel casually speaks about computer vision, convolutional neural
networks,

and application program interfaces as though he were a university graduate
of computer science – not an about-to-graduate high schooler.

“I’ve always liked technology, but as much as I like playing video games
and
using different apps, I wanted to be able to make them myself,” Tukrel
said.

For Tukrel, the work doesn’t stop now that the science fair is over.

He has already met with various organizations to get feedback on the app,
and plans on making tweaks to improve the user experience. So far, the app
has
been downloaded by several thousand people and is being used in 60
countries. And, it’s free, something Tukrel doesn’t plan on changing.

“I want people who are visually impaired to use it without thinking of the
financial consequences of doing so,” he said. “We have such great
technology

and I think it’s important that everyone has access to it.”

Hi all,
I have an S EE, which I have had since June. I really like this phone. Your
wife could get a lanyard case which would go around her neck. I don't know if
that is something she would like or not. I have the case and it is wonderful.
It feels like rubber but I think it's actually silicone the iPhone 6 in it, and
is nicely protected because the screen goes against your body. You can adjust
the straps so that you don't even have to take it off of your neck to answer
the phone. This phone according to the Apple representative that I spoke with,
has everything in it except the 3D Touch, which had recently come out. It is a
good phone, and I think she would really like it.

Well, it probably depends on the user and what they do with their phone. I
guess your wife will have to make that decision. I know I don't use it much,
but I am a blind user used to their Waze. I do use it for a couple of things,
such as quickly getting rid of all notifications. And I know at least one other

suspect it's one of those things if you don't have it, you don't miss it. Maybe
if you had it in then don't and used it a lot, you would miss it.

Hi Chip,
I recall seeing reports, after the SE was out at first, that the battery life

but better than the sixs, so it may turn out to be better than seven. I haven't

Don't let the size of the SE fool you. It's small, but this battery packs a
huge punch. My phone has been on standby for 52 hours and in use for four
hours. And it's currently at 46 percent on the battery. I have location turned
off on mine, but this will show you just how awesome the battery life is on
this phone. The SE is a really good phone. It's the same as the iPhone 5S as
far as the body of the phone is concerned.

Her concern is the 7 is too large (not the plus, just standard 7); she has

and thinks she’ll be able to do this with an SE, but not with a 7.

I am concerned the SE has a less capable battery, and since she’s sighted, a
screen so small she would have trouble looking things up online, or managing t
touch what she needed.

Can others give me some info (please assume the price is not the primary issue

Re: Seeking step by step on buying a book

2016-11-29 Thread englishrider91
You're going to have to use the Amazon website, not the app, to buy your Kindle
book. It's not Amazon's fault. Either Apple takes a 30% cut of the price when
buying a Kindle book, or they just outright stopped that type of purchase,
since Apple has iBooks, and wants you to use their platform. Either way, it's
annoying.

Direct TV Now is swinging for the fences! Not only are they offering a free
appleTV4 if you commit to 3 months of service, but for a limited time, you
can get over 100 channels for 35 bucks, and add on HBO and cenamax for only
5 bucks each. That is huge! Considering HBO is 15 bucks by itself on
appleTV and other cable providers. Read more here

The processor in the 6S is between the seventh and the regular six. So there is
probably not that much of a difference. I had a 6S and traded it in for a 7+.
Of course I've had that phone for a little while now, but I don't recall any
huge increase in perceived speed with the new phone. Much better battery life
to be sure.

Re: Gestures for copy and paste within the FB app

2016-11-29 Thread Joney
Unfortunately Kimber, we can't do that yet. Voiceover does not allow us to do
the copy, and paste. If you're doing it from some other app, you can go in and
edit, and use the rotor and go down to copy paste. But, since you're not
editing their comments, it won't let you copy so that you can paste it into a
new space for yourself.

I find the processor in the 7 substantially faster than the processor in the 6.

Re: Gestures for copy and paste within the FB app

2016-11-29 Thread Kimber Gardner
The last spoken text really won't help me in this case. What I'm
wanting to do is to copy text in the situation where someone will post
to their status and ask that others copy and paste to their own
status. I'm wondering what would be the easiest way to accomplish
this.

Re: Smart thermostats

Why you cannot create manual schedules, the auto scheduling feature makes it
possible for the nest to learn your preferences. I think that makes a big
difference. I don't know what accessibility was like before, I find it to be
reasonably good for my needs.

Hi,

For one thing, you could use an app like Run Keeper, which uses GPS. Lots of
fitness apps could be used without having your phone nearby. That might be the
main benefit.

Take care,

series 2 has gps antenna, so I don’t need my phone around to know where am I?

They said, yes, you don’t need to have your iPhone around to use the gps
capabilities.

I asked them, ok, if I don’t need my iPhone around to use the gps capabilities,
I will be able to use maps and for example get the way to somewhere just
typing an address?

They said, no, to be able to do that you need to get your phone.

I said, so I don’t understand. What is the reason of that gps antenna then?

You said that I don’t need my iPhone to use the gps capabilities, but you are
saying now that if I want to go to a store, I need my phone to tell to maps the
address and start the way ?

So for what reason I want a iWathch with gps antenna?

They couldn’t answer my question.

So really, and I want to think that this lady wasn’t very aware about the apple
watch . What are the usability of a gps antenna in a apple watch ?

Thanks guys,

Well, I just learned that the nest thermostat is on sale at Best Buy for $199.
If I had bought it at that price and got a $75 rebate, the cost would've come
down to $125. Or thereabouts. In any event. That's not bad when you consider
that $125 for thermostat like the nest is really good price. So if anybody's in
the market, this would probably be a good week to check on this.

That depends entirely on the programs your particular hydro companies are
running. Here in Canada they do offer rebates on some stuff, but the problem is
that I already own a smart thermostat so even if they offered a rebate for the
upgrade from a regular thermostat to a smart thermostat I wouldn’t qualify. I
just went through this with lights. I had applied for a rebate for upgrading
all the old florescent tube fixtures at my retail store to LED fixtures and
thought I also ask the company that put together the quote to include upgrading
about 80 light bulbs. After an on-sight inspection the hydro company said that
because I had already changed all my old 75 Watt halogen spotlights to the
compact florescent versions I would not qualify for upgrading these to LED.
Both compact florescent and LED are considered energy saving even though the
compact florescent bulbs use I think 13 or 15 Watts and the equivalent LED
version only uses 9 Watts, still 40% less over 13 Watts. Anyhow, I still got a
$760 rebate on a total bill of a bit over $4,000 and while I had hoped for a
bit more it’s at least about 18% and the new LED fixtures are brighter, put out
a nicer light and of course there is no more florescent hum, they are totally
silent.

Re: Apple Watch Series 1 Versus Series 2 Models

2016-11-29 Thread Daniel L. Gervais
Hi Pam,

I struggled with the same delimma a couple of months ago. I decided to go for
the Series 1, as for my situation, it was a better fit.

The first item was the price, in Canada, the Series 1 is $399 while the Series
2 is $629, about $130 more.

The second item was the brighter screen, being blind, not really a selling
point.

The third item was the Water Resistance, I know that I don't plan on wearing
the watch while swimming or showering.

And lastly, the built-in GPS. Sure you can take walks with the Series 2 and
don't need to carry your phone, but in my case, my phone is always with me, and
that coupled with the $130 savings (which I put that towards an AppleCare plan,
and with taxes, came about $5 less then the Series 2 watch alone before taxes.

As for performance, the Series 1 has the same processor as the Series 2, and
not haven't played with the Series 2 personally, have heard that they both
perform similarly. David Woodbridge from Vision Australia did a demo of the
original Apple Watch with the Series 2 and although you did notice a very small
difference in performance, with Watch OS 3, both watches performed fairly close.

Now I've had the watch for a little over two months now and I don't regret it
for a second. But like I said, my situation is nothing like others. The best
thing I can suggest is to go to an Apple Store and play around with both to see
for yourself and make a decision based on what works for you and your budget.

As for battery life, I've changed some settings in order to save on battery and
have only enabled certain notifications, the most important ones I want to see,
and have decreased the brighthess all the way down, and for me, I will
typically come home at the end of the day with about 70% to 75%. Now for me, I
use the watch normally, occasionally checking my watch from time to time, but
it will all depend on how you use it.

Hope this helps!

Hi All,

I am considering an apple watch, and would like to know if anyone has opinions
on the Series 1 versus the Series 2 watch.

After researching, it appears that the main differences are that the Series 2
has a GPS antenna, a brighter display and is water resistent up to a much
greater depth than the Series 1.

Of the above, the only difference I am concerned with is the GPS. I have seen
references to the Series 1 being able to give directions while you walk. So,
with the Series 1, is it that you can run a GPS app on the watch, but it needs
to use the phone's GPS, whereas with the Series 2, you do not need to use your
phone's GPS?

I would be interested in hearing anyone's experiences with either model.

Thanks,

RE: Apple Watch Series 1 Versus Series 2 Models

2016-11-29 Thread Jim Portillo
You know, this is very timely.
I am just about to get one as a Christmas gift, and it's the series 1. I was
told that the Series 2 doesn't need to have the phone near by to be used
because of the GPS.

Subject: Apple Watch Series 1 Versus Series 2 Models

Thanks,
Pam

iWatch and iPhone?

2016-11-29 Thread Jim Portillo
Good morning,

As a Christmas gift, I'm about to get an iWatch first series edition. It's
a 38 MM screen, which is fine for me because I'm totally blind. Are there
any tutorials or is there any advice for me before I go pick it up from the
Apple Store? I know it has VoiceOver, and that it can work with my iPhone
7, but what will I need to do to set it up? I think the Apple Store will
help me somewhat, but I know it will help knowing what I need to do.

Is it fairly easy to use, and are the gestures the same using VoiceOver?

Thanks.

Jim

Do the Belkin Wemo switches and plugs have home kit support, e.g. can you tell

Sieghard,

With regards to Item no. 2, I own several WEMO devices which are made by
Belcan. The IOS ap is pretty much accessable and allows me to schedule and
control several devices. I own both wall switches and wall warts, e.g., plug
into an outlet and control whatever you plug into them. The AP is not great,
but can be used by a totally blind person after a pretty steep learning curve
defined by some unlabeled or mislabeled buttons and controls. That is just in
the scheduling function. Turning things on and off via the ap is completely
accessable.

Hi,

I am grouping a few items together in this message since they all have one
thing in common, they are Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connected devices which you
control via an app.

I am basically interested in feedback on any or all of them from people who
have used them. Specifically, here are a few questions I have:

1. Philips Hue: anybody have any of these connected light bulbs and in
particular how is the SIRI Home Kit integration working? I was hoping I could
get a deal this weekend, but the only starter kits I saw on sale were the
second generation ones which have just in the last week or two been replaced
with the third generation. I think the bridge is actually unchanged, but the
new third generation bulbs are supposed to reproduce colours a lot more
accurately.

2. WiFi switches: by these I mean switches you plug into a power wall
outlet, you then plug in a device (heater, lights, coffee maker etc.) and you
can turn the connected device on or off via the app or on a schedule. I am
interested to know what brands people may have bought, does the brand you have
support home kit and hence SIRI integration?

3. Instapot: this has been discussed before, I think Mary has one. I
think the app for this was accessible and I was curious as to whether it still
is, has it become better or worse with respect to Voiceover accessibility and
are all aspects and features of the app useable?

I did find one good deal yesterday, the new Withings Body scale was on sale at
BestBuy.ca for $99.99 instead of $149.99. I had a $100 Best Buy gift card so
all it cost me was the taxes. Withings used to have what they called the Smart
Body Analyzer and it has now been replaced by two new scales, the Body and Body
Cardio. The Body Cardio also reads your heart rate, but since I have an Apple
Watch as well as a Qardio Blood Pressure monitor I didn't feel that was very
necessary. The new scale gives you the usual range of measurements beyond
weight such as body index, body fat, bone mass etc. It is only three quarters
of an inch thick and looks very nice, it supports the Apple Health app and once
I get it and my wife and I have used it I'll share my impressions. This will be
here just in time to forever record how many pounds of Christmas cookies I eat
and which somehow stick to my belly *smile*.

Best regards,

Sieghard

Hi Sieghard and al,
thanks for your help.
unfortunately, Anker is not available here in Slovakia.
I would like to buy Anker astro mini lipstick size battery from the

cable, so I need something really short and I thought retractable cable
would be a good idea.

Thank you again.

The best shopping option would be Amazon, but if Apple ships around the US., it

Well, I just learned that the nest thermostat is on sale at Best Buy for $199.
If I had bought it at that price and got a $75 rebate, the cost would've come
down to $125. Or thereabouts. In any event. That's not bad when you consider
that $125 for thermostat like the nest is really good price. So if anybody's in
the market, this would probably be a good week to check on this.

all the old florescent tube fixtures at my retail store to LED fixtures and
thought I also ask the company that put together the quote to include upgrading
about 80 light bulbs.
Anyhow, I still got a
$760 rebate on a total bill of a bit over $4,000 and while I had hoped for a
bit more it’s at least about 18% and the new LED fixtures are brighter, put out
a nicer light and of course there is no more florescent hum, they are totally
silent.

You can get a rebate on smart thermostats. I bought a nest and got a $75 rebate
from my utility company. That brought the cost down.

does offer it, but not at a cost of over $200 canadian, it is after all not
that difficult to ask SIRI to open the app and to then tap on the appropriate

The Sensi is also accessible. I chose this device because it is, supposedly,
accessible with the Amazon Echo, but I have not yet gotten this part completely

Best regards,
Sieghard

Re: info on the IPhone SE

2016-11-29 Thread Kelly Pierce
Chip,

Another factor to consider is the processor is from 2015. Apple stops
updating iOS after five years so the SE will no longer receive iOS
updates in 2020, a year shorter than the 7. It is believed that Apple
will not refresh the SE in 2017. It is not the size that is different
but the processor is important. I just bought a 7 after owning an
iPhone 5 and don’t find the slightly bigger size that much of a
bother. I would say that I dropped by my local Apple store here in
Chicago wearing different kinds of shirts and pants to determine if
the standard 6, 6s, or 7 would fit. It did without a problem. Staff
at the store were cool with me handling the phone after I told them
what I wanted to learn.

never use split screen. I see no value in it for me. Hopefully others
who do use it will have something different to say. The other caution
flag I would put up about the iPad mini for is that it is running a chip
which is two years old. No big deal? Not now. But I wonder about the
longevity of the device, since it's Chip is that old. Rumor is, new
iPads are coming out next spring, but the question is, will the mini get
 a refresh?

Please I need your help - looking for a charging cable.

2016-11-29 Thread Mária Orovčíková

Hello list,

please, I am looking for a retractable, short, charging, MFI certified
cable for my Iphone 6.

If anyone knows of such product, please give me the product link.

My brother is in the U.S. until december 18, so he can buy it for me.

The best shopping option would be Amazon, but if Apple ships around the
US., it would be fine as well.

Thank you for your help in advance.

With kind regards,

Maria

Re: Smart thermostats

2016-11-29 Thread Les Kriegler
Has he heard,

Well, I just learned that the nest thermostat is on sale at Best Buy for $199.
If I had bought it at that price and got a $75 rebate, the cost would've come
down to $125. Or thereabouts. In any event. That's not bad when you consider
that $125 for thermostat like the nest is really good price. So if anybody's in
the market, this would probably be a good week to check on this.

RE: Philips Hue smart lights, WiFi smart switches and Instapod Smart Bluetooth cooking appliance

2016-11-29 Thread Darrin Porter

Turning things on and off via the ap is completely
accessable.

Subject: Philips Hue smart lights, WiFi smart switches and Instapod Smart
Bluetooth cooking appliance

Sieghard

RE: KNFB Reader on the Go

I have used it for this purpose more than once and it has helped me get out of
a jam. It's not perfect as there is usually more on the screen than you might
be aware of as a screen reader user but it does get the job done.

You can't use it while shopping. I use it for menus, books, bus stop signs,
computer screens when troubleshooting and..any other printed materials I may
need to read while out and about. It's definitely not worth the price, but if
you have the money to spend it's a great tool to have and the most accurate and

I wouldn't say it is not worth the price. When the KNFB READER first came out,
I thought it was a very high price. After I bought it, I don't regret it at
all. It is well worth the price when you have to have that something read. No
booting up a computer; no putting the page in a scanner; no big production,
just lift and snap the picture.

Hi Kimber. In my last message, I make a mistake. Is a three fingers quadruple

Re: Gestures for copy and paste within the FB app

2016-11-29 Thread Helga Schreiber
Hi Kimber. How are you? To copy an status, yu need to do a four fingers
quadruple tap. In other words, tap four times with four fingers. And to paste,
then go to your timeline, and use your Voiceover rotor and find edit, an on
the options of edit is paste and that's it. Hope this helps! I look forward in
hearing from you soon. Thanks and God bless!

Taking photos off line

2016-11-29 Thread Ramy Moustafa
Hello all:

I'm traveling, and I will not have an internet connection on street,
can't I find a way to make my Iphone 6 didecting the place on which I
took the photo but without internet?
it's so difficult to know the photos after 2 or 3 weeks, so I need to
find a good way of doing this
Thanks
