i have and use both, but the two advantages to Seeing Eye are that your

So I set up the pass code first and then the 2 factor authentication?

Now let's hope I didn't do the pass code at some point and forget to write it

  Hi Vicki,

If you set up a passcode to protect your phone, I would not recommend using
your Apple ID password. For one thing, you can use a simpler passcode on your
phone. Also, it's just more secure if the two are different.

By default, your phone will ask for a six-digit passcode. YOu can change it
to a four-digit one, which is easier but less secure, or an alphanumeric one,
where you type in a passcode using letters and/or numbers and whatever length
you like. I imagine there's a minimum length, but I don't know what it is.

Not sure if you can use 2-factor authentication if you don’t have your
device protected. For the most part 2-factor authentication just means that
your Apple Id is protected with a second layer of security, e.g. the first time
you sign in you are sent a code you have to enter after you enter your
password. You can set up devices as trusted devices and consequently you don’t
have to always put in the code. You can read more here:

When I turned them on for back up, I got the message that I couldn't turn
that feature on without first activating 2-factor authentication.

I'm not sure why this is, but it is.

My question is exactly how does 2-factor authentication work and how will

I've never used it, but I do want my messages backed up.

  Thanks.

By Zac Hall

Notice something weird about your Apple Watch since updating to watchOS 5.2?
There's a software bug affecting the Explorer watch face on the latest Apple
Watch update.
The Explorer face, recognized for its bold red watch hands, is only
available on the cellular models of Apple Watch Series 3 and later; GPS-only
models and older watches don't feature the special analog watch face.
If you do have the Explorer face, you may notice that the minute and hour
numbers are missing since updating to this week's watchOS 5.2 software
update. The Explorer watch face is presented correctly in the Watch app on
the iPhone, but minuter and hour numbers have vanished on the actual watch
face running on the Apple Watch.
Since the Explorer watch face is still presented correctly on the iPhone's
Watch app, we can only assume this is a software bug and not a design
change. Comically, the second and third style of the Explorer face are
barely distinguishable without the optional hour numerals present.
Apple has a new watchOS software update shipping to developers today for
testing, version 5.2.1, so we'll dive in and see if the Explorer bug is
resolved in the new beta release.
In the meantime, you're not alone if your Explorer face lost its numbers.
The good news is that the watchOS update expands Apple's ECG app beyond the
US into Hong Kong and 19 countries across Europe.

Two-Factor Authentication for Apple Id

Subject: question on 2-factor Authentication

Good Morning!

I just noticed that when I do an ICloud backup, my messages are not highlighted
to back up.

When I turned them on for back up, I got the message that I couldn't turn that
feature on without first activating 2-factor authentication.

I'm not sure why this is, but it is.

My question is exactly how does 2-factor authentication work and how will it
affect my turning on and off my mini IPad and IPhone? Will I need to use a code
every time I lock my screen or turn them off and on?

I've never used it, but I do want my messages backed up.

Thanks.

Re: Question for users of MLB at bat

2019-04-01 Thread Ed Worrell
Hey Mary,

I found where you can find all of the video clips from the previous game. I
think this section will populate with videos after they happen during a game as
well. You will have to navigate to the scores tab on the bottom of the screen
this will be the second tab from the bottom left corner. Double tap on that,
navigate to the game w\you would like to see the highlights for, navigate past
the score and the video clip that is market as adjustable. There will be a
series of buttons: Wrap, Box, Summery and videos. You will want to double tap
on the videos button. This will open a screen with all of the highlights on one
screen. You will now be looking for the recap video. It will be labeled with
the words Recap and the final score. Double tap on the title of the video not
the time below. This should start the video in the player of the MLB @Bat app.
After the video is done playing you need to find the unlabeled button in the
top[ of the screen and this will take you back to the videos page.

I hope this helps, and it’s what you were looking for.

Hey Mary,

With the app you may have to wait until there is a game in progress as it will
only send a notification. I can’t seem to find the condensed game in the app
anywhere. I am still looking though.

It’s baseball season yet again. In years past, I have been able to get
notifications from the At Bat app about “condensed game“. I know it is
early days, only three games in, but I have yet to see a notification for
a condensed game. These were combined sometimes for multiple audio
sources, but it was great, because if you went to bed before a game ended,
you could get a condensed version with all the cool highlights. It could
be on missing it, or haven’t sent some notification that I need to say
that. But I’m wondering if somebody is getting condensed games, what you
did to make that happen. I miss it. I went to bed yesterday, thinking my
Dodgers were going to win, only to wake up and find out that they lost in
extra innings game, and no way to get the audio highlights. Sure, I read
the summary and dad gave me what I wanted to know. But I would still have
liked to of had the audio highlights.

Hello Mary and All,

The condensed games are still there. You will have to go to the more tab,
settings in the top[ right hand corner, navigate down to notifications, down
the the favorite teams section and go into each favorite tems notifications
settings and turn on the condensed game notification setting switch. If this

In Uber, the app takes stops in the order  that the stops have been entered.

dave, Either something really odd happened to corrupt the app, or you have the
wrong app. Here is Winston's message announcing the release of Voice Dream
Scanner with the link.

If you follow that link, and instead of the price, it says open; then you have
the right app and should delete it and redownload because there is nothing
about any Radio Deluxe anything in the menu.

The first item under menu is settings.

After downloading this new app and the latest update

a.. Scan paper documents using the on-device camera
and save them as readable PDFs.
b.. Read existing PDFs made of scanned images.
Scanner is also pretty awesome standalone, for when
you don't want to save scans to Voice Dream Reader.

The technology is state-of-the-art. It's fast and
accurate, even in poor lighting conditions. It works entirely on device: No
need for Internet, and your data stays private.

Of course, it has the level of polish and
accessibility that everyone has come to expect from Voice Dream.

Voice Dream Scanner is $5.99 in the US and equivalent
in other countries. With that you get unlimited text recognition: No
subscriptions and no additional charges. The link is here:

Note that only languages using Latin-based alphabets
are currently supported. It does not works for Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Hebrew,
Japanese, Korean and Russian.

Lol nah I didn't think I needed a case, and then one day it fell off my table.
I am pretty sure it hit the metal leg of the table and cracked. It was not very
high off the ground but it happens I suppose.
I was an android user first and swapping between the 2 is no big deal to me. I
will keep my IOS device around for the IOS things though, and maybe at some
point I will figure out a way to fix the watch. It's still usable so I suppose
that's good.
