So at the time, I checked and the audio description was turned on for that 
movie. However, I just checked and now there is audio description. they must 
have added it later.

Starting a Movie from the Beginning in the IOS Disney app

Hello to the list.

So, I have no trouble playing a movie, but cannot seem to find a way to
start the movie from the beginning.

There is a time scrubber, but every time I start swiping it, the movie
begins to play again after having been paused, and it would take 20 or 30
minutes to go 90 minutes backwards back to the beginning.  Any tips for
starting a movie from the beginning in the IOS Disney app?

I sometimes received a dimmed response even when I add something to my cart 
after a search but the items are going through.  Maybe it’s something on their 
end.

Hi, I'm glad you could get editing orders  to work here it is absolutely 
not operational via the #iOSApp at all.


Like I said I've tried multiple gestures and means by which of trying to 
interact with the on screen elements and nothing doing for me. But at 
least I can do it via the site so there's that.


It makes me sad that you can't report app issues via the app's 
settings.  I've tweeted at them and called in with little hope that the 
comments are reaching the appropriate people.

When you find something, you  can add it to your watch list, so you don't have

items before shopping begins, it took me a minute to figure it out, but now I 
can do it. Unfortunately, it has been a while since I did it, so I don't 
remember how to do it well enough to explain it, and of course, I don't have an

Hi Arnold and all,

I, like Arnold can search for items and add them just fine but when 
perusing order history or other lists such as favorites or the like it 
fails at least by me on an iPhone 11ProMax.  I've tried double tapping 
on dimmed controls flicking up and double tapping and holding. I also 
find it difficult to add items to a cart before shopping has begun. I.E. 
after you've placed your order but before shopping has commenced. The 
only way I've found to do it is via the website and even then it's 
anyone's guess if it actually takes. So Arnold you're not the only one 
and it might not just be limited to older devices.

On an older device from the main screen where I saw the item I could flick up 
on it and one would be added to the cart, or, if I wanted to read the details 
by double tapping on the item and then adding to cart, I did a double tap and 
hold, and I got the message saying added to cart.

Yes, and in the Apple world, backspace is delete.
Say you write the word brightness with the contractions for right and ness and 
decide you want a different word, if you backspace over it, does VO speak each 
character as you backspace, which deletes each character?

Mickey, I have my writer set to echo words most of the time. But in the rotor 
settings  on my iPhone, I have “characters” right next to “words” so, if I am 
editing something prior to sending it, I can easily flip back and forth between 
“words” and “characters” with space plus dots 2 3 and space dots 5 6. Of

its iPhones are UnLock'd & have TheAbility 
to  Work/Operate on any Other MobileCarrier. No 
other MobileCarrier has that Ability, as it's 
Like  purchasing or buying  your iPhone  FromApple.


Even Sprints iPhones won't work/operate on 
VZW'sNetwork & they are the only Other MobileCarrier to  have used CDMA

I have been having the exact same problem going back and forth with male Siri 
and Samantha and it drives me crazy!  I removed the male Siri from the rotor, 
but Siri just keeps coming back, no matter what I do.  I never know when I turn 
on my phone, what voice is going to be talking.  Maybe the male Siri, maybe 
Samantha, who knows!  I don't think Apple even knows what to do anymore, as 
I've called them many times regarding this consistent issue as well as others, 
but still no go!  So, I wish well to anyone else who might be having this 
problem.

I've been working with someone who has an iPhone 11.  Because of her hearing, 
she needs the Siri Male voice to be her VoiceOver voice as well as the Siri 
voice.
I even walked through with her yesterday and deleted Samantha from the rotor 
voices, and made sure Siri Male was checked for Siri's voice, for spoken 
content Speech, and for VoiceOver default voice.
No rotor languages were selected, so I thought, finally, we are done with this 
nonsense.

This morning, she wrote and said Samantha was back.

Apple is telling her it is a software issue, not hardware, but 13.6.1 did not 
solve it and I have an ugly feeling that 14 won't either.

The Hide is just to the right of the End Call Button. The Add Call is up maybe 
a little past the center of the screen. When the second party has answered, you 
then have to press Merge call to get your first party back into the call. Merge 
is just about at or above the center of the screen. You can do it again and add 
yet another. I don't know how many you can add, but my daughter-in-love had me 
and two other people on the phone with her at one time.

6. once that person has answered, there is a merge calls button that you will

Even if the button is dimmed it still works, but it takes a second to activate. 
When it does you should get a haptic vibration. it’s very brief.

Sadly, all they say in the app description is improvements and bug fixes.  That 
is pretty standard when they are not adding a feature.
Maybe someone who uses it regularly can help.

Weird, I have audio description enabled, I checked when the movie first came up 
without description. That was a little while back though, february or march or 
so. Maybe they have added it since then.

Sandy, do yo find that VoiceOver speaks the characters when you press dot 7?  I 
have not found that to be the case.
It stays silent until the entire word is deleted.

I think all of the newer models do have CDMA, but that technology is a dying 
breed anyway. Verizon plans to shut there's down at the end of this year and 
now that t-mobile has purchased Sprint, they will probably shut Sprint's 
network down at some point.

Hi to all.  I am really enjoying Disney+.  A lot of the Disney movies are 
described which is so cool.  I'm currently watching Dumbo.  I'm listening to it 
on my google home speaker which sounds very good.  I wish it were a little 
easier to find exactly what movie you want to watch.  I found something called 
Disney through the decades one time, but I can't seem to find it again.  The 
national Geographic stuff is kind of cool as well.  I like The Simpsons even 
though they aren't described on Disney+.  It is cool to have Star Wars 
described as well.

To delete a book on audible, swipe down to the book you wish to delete, then 
use an up or down swipe until you here remove from device. Double tap that and 
the book will be removed.

Pick of the litter is very accurate too. I go to a different school but the 
process is very much the same and I was very glad to hear about that. I think 
that people should be more educated in guide dogs and how they are trained and 
all that sort of thing.

What surprised me is that they went back and described some of the classics, 
like the 1953 animated Peter Pan.

When you find something, you  can add it to your watch list, so you don't have 
to dig for it again.
I don't have my device at my finger tips right now, but I believe there is a

Try just flicking up on the item you want.  First flick up is to add and

Actually, the new firmware that will be out next week, I hope, works fine with 
any setting, other than while deleting with dot 7. If you just have it set to 
words, it is not going to speak each letter you delete, so if you have used a 
contraction, it is a bit confusing if you need to backspace over it.
But, that is true I think for any braille device, but with a physical braille 
display, you can read what you are deleting.

Unfortunately, that does not work here. I have never known of a button that 
said dimmed, that worked anyway, but I tried it again after reading your 
message.

Thanks to everyone for the help. I can see now it was a case of operator error 
or maybe that’s operator misunderstanding. I went in and changed the settings 
and everything appears to be working now.

You can chose if you want   on lock screens  or always. You can select  your 
favorits numbers or not and you should  know that the clock will ring.

Insta-cart Question

For the last few updates, I can not add an item to my cart from the Your Items 
section. When I tap the item, I can adjust how many I want, but the add to cart 
 button says dimmed. I have no problem adding items if I search for them using 
the search feature, just not in the Your Items section. Thanks in advance for 
any ideas.

download and listen to another book but it says it is low on
storage.  I have tried several times to delete the finished
books by clicking on the "remove from device" button.  Nothing
happens and those books are still there and I still can't
