Re: Apple watch and sleep focus

2024-01-04 Thread 'Angie Nutt' via VIPhone
I’m glad that mystery is solved. Actually, I should have twigged I suppose
because when I first started using sleep focus just before Christmas I noticed
the display darkens; I can see a tiny bit. I noticed the display come to life
when tapping the watch. I perhaps should have twigged that I needed to tap it
once to wake and then twice to get the vibrations.

Hi all,

I got a reply from Apple accessibility and actually, three taps is correct as
you have to tap it once to wake it up. Hope that clarifies it; it’s not a bug.

Have just sent an email to Apple; I’m very curious to know why this should be
happening. I wonder if we will ever know.

I see it more like Apple finds it’s spending too much time on social media etc;
wants to use it’s resources differently. Personally, I like having the presence
of companies I buy from on my social media so think this is a shame but we’ll
see what happens.

Re: kindle app on iphone not showing some books right

2023-08-25 Thread 'Angie Nutt' via VIPhone
Apparently you’re not the only one. I realise this is no help but someone on a
list reported it to Amazon as it started after an update, so if you can find
where to report it, it might be a worthwhile thing to do.

Re: new tramendous brail panning bug for all brail devices DO NOT UPDATE to ios16.5

2023-05-24 Thread 'Angie Nutt' via VIPhone
Not sure I agree it’s petty as it decreases efficiency if one is dependent on
braille. I do agree though with those who say there is no such thing as bug
free software.
