Re: "Light Probe" App
Eric, I think I used to have a app that did this, but can't remember what it was called and don't have it on my phone at present. I just went to the App Store and downloaded an app called ColourDetector, but it seems to be a very strange app that I don't understand and certainly isn't the one are used to have. could you possibly either send a link or give more details of the colour detector app you are using? thanks, Sandy Sent from my iPhone > On 24 Nov 2015, at 03:41, Eric Oyen wrote: > > there is color detector. it can tell you what color even a light is. > > -eric > >> On Nov 23, 2015, at 1:57 PM, Lisa Belville wrote: >> >> No, and I don't know of any light detector that tells you the color of a >> light. Re: "Light Probe" App
Brian with technology what it is, you can either facetime, skype, or even text a picture to the tech so they can see the color for you. I went through this with a Verizon tech a few weeks ago. It was one of those aha moments for me when he asked if I could text him a picture of the lights. I should have thought of that a long time ago. Another suggestion would be an app like Be My Eyes. Re: "Light Probe" App
Hmm, I use the light probe app every day and it does indicate varying strengths of light and locations by using a different pitch. You can also tap the screen anywhere while the app is running and it will tell you what percentage of light it's detecting. Zero through 10% is the lowest pitch and it gets higher as more light is detected even while the phone is being moved around. As long as the back facing camera is clear, it will indicate light sources if they're present and you can use the rising and falling pitch to zero in on the source. Re: "Light Probe" App
Hi, I use Seeing assistant light every morning when I get up to shut all the lights my family leaves on. I think it was either free or extremely cheap for the app. It detects light from other rooms even when I am not close. I don't know what I would do without it. Re: "Light Probe" App
hi, Does anyone else think that we need a revamp of the light probe app? for me, for example, it works in general terms, that is, I get a sound indication if there is a light or if there is no light. but, in these days, with all our different devices/charges/indicators, including flashing LEDs, we need something more specific. I need a clever light detector app! are there any developers out there who might work on this? just my thoughts, Sandy Sent from my iPhone > On 22 Nov 2015, at 20:56, Woody Anna Dresner wrote: > > Hi, > > You might be able to do it with Light Detector, but I'm not sure. Re: "Light Probe" App
if you have an iPhone, there is an app for that. :) its called light detector. I use it to determine if the recharge stand for my radios is working, the control for the electric blanket and even if there is a light on in the room. its been handy, although it doesn't see a lot of use. -eric On Nov 22, 2015, at 1:45 PM, SSEric wrote: > My rechargeable battery has four little lights to indicate charge level. > > Is there any app I could tell if those are lighted?
