double tap the search tab. Then touch the screen near your volume up button 
then flick right until you hear "games, apps stories and more" and double tap.

I search the app store. When I finthese app, I double tap on get. Confirm that I want it by double tapping the side button and it downloads. the name of "Louie Voice Control” and I've been using it consistently since 
then. Are there any other users of it in this Group? If yes, please inform. I 
would like to understand what all features you have already tried out as I'm 
still new with this App and learning about more & more helpful features on a 
daily basis. 

So Louie is all about controlling popular Apps & phone functionality with just 
voice commands. The best part is that its designed keeping special needs of for 
visually impaired like us in mind. � I heard the Founder of Louie saying in his 
video that he is visually impaired himself and has built this app to solve his 
own visual impairment problems. I loved watching his video as it gave a very 
simple demonstration of the App & also suggested how it's different from Alexa, 
Siri & Google Assistant. And I truly agree with what all he said as there's no 
comparison. Louie is much more customized for VI users & not generic like other 
voice assistants.

Louie supports Uber, YouTube, WhatsApp, Contacts & Phone Calling as of now with 
many more phone functionalities. And many more apps are on the way as informed 
in the Founder's video.

I'm personally using Louie for many things which earlier were really difficult 
for me to manage on my own like sharing my live location on WhatsApp, reading 
and describing images received, � skipping YouTube ads, saving and editing my 
contacts, checking my exact location, booking uber without any hassle & calling 
the driver to confirm my location etc.

Louie Voice Control-A New App to Voice Control Various Phone Apps

Hi Friends

Some time back, I came across a very interesting app on Google Play Store by 
the name of "Louie Voice Control” and I've been using it consistently since 
then. Are there any other users of it in this Group? If yes, please inform. I 
would like to understand what all features you have already tried out as I'm 
still new with this App and learning about more & more helpful features on a 
daily basis. 

So Louie is all about controlling popular Apps & phone functionality with just 
voice commands. The best part is that its designed keeping special needs of for 
visually impaired like us in mind.  I heard the Founder of Louie saying in his 
video that he is visually impaired himself and has built this app to solve his 
own visual impairment problems. I loved watching his video as it gave a very 
simple demonstration of the App & also suggested how it's different from Alexa, 
Siri & Google Assistant. And I truly agree with what all he said as there's no 
comparison. Louie is much more customized for VI users & not generic like other 
voice assistants.

Louie supports Uber, YouTube, WhatsApp, Contacts & Phone Calling as of now with 
many more phone functionalities. And many more apps are on the way as informed 
in the Founder's video.

I'm personally using Louie for many things which earlier were really difficult 
for me to manage on my own like sharing my live location on WhatsApp, reading 
and describing images received,  skipping YouTube ads, saving and editing my 
contacts, checking my exact location, booking uber without any hassle & calling 
the driver to confirm my location etc.

A new app called iFidget

I just learned of a new, free, app from the New Mexico Commission for the
Blind called iFidget.  The description explains the intent of the app.  I've
pasted the description and the link to the U.S. app store below.

Description

iFidget is an app designed to help people with a range of habits from
rocking back and forth to restless leg syndrome or even just constant
fidgeting. It has an incredibly simple design, but it has a very big future.

iFidget is designed to be used while you're sitting. It can be set to
vibrate or play a sound when it detects that you aren't sitting still.
iFidget attempts to tell the difference between somebody who is rocking,
fidgeting or moving constantly vs somebody who is just shifting their weight
at a table.

iFidget can be a very useful therapeutic tool for those who start these
habits subconsciously and would like to take the first step towards stopping
them.

Nothing more would be needed as far as what angel voice sent, but I stand by 
my request to the list in general, which is what I was meaning to begin 
with, that we should always provide information that will help others 
determine their interest before they click on a link that they know nothing 
about.  This is a good way to not only eliminate an unnecessary step in 
getting the info and is a time saver, but it also eliminates the spreading 
of unwanted problems.

Yes, this is the same Be My Eyes app which is already being discussed on 
list. As you said, it's pretty clear from the URL itself that it's the 
same app, and AngelVoice's description also suggests this, although 
AngelVoice may not have been aware of those other threads. Obviously, 
following the link would have also made this clear.

When reading the message on my iPhone, that portion was not heard.  I only 
saw the link.  That's why I responded as I did.


I did not ask for an elaborate review or for info pasted from a site.  All I 
asked for was a simple synopsis or a bit of info about the app.  As for how 
easily you can go elsewhere to determine your interest, why not eliminate 
that step by doing as I suggest.  That is more of a time saver for the 
reader.  If interested, find out more at, so and so dot such and such.  If 
not, there's no need to go there.  Also, if a malicious message were to be 
posted that wants you to click on a link, this is how a lot of viruses, 
spyWare and MalWare are spread, so not having to click on a link to get info 
also eliminates this potential threat.

Testflight is one way. There are also other ways although I don’t know 
technically how this works. I am on the Sonos beta program and whenever a new 
Sonos beta version is available I get an email which contains links to download 
the app for iOS, Android, Windows and the Mac. If I want to install the iOS 
version I open the email, click on the link and a webpage opens in Safari. I 
then find the iOS link and tap it, then I am asked if I want to allow the Sonos 
app to install. I tap Yes and then if I go out of Safari and check my Sonos app 
on the homescreen it will tell me that it is downloading. Of course in turn I 
use the same email link and webpage on my PC except I click on the Windows link 
and I am asked if I want to Run or download the Sonos application for my PC.

and the developer can then send out a notification to all the beta testers that 
a new build is available and you can then download the build through Test 
Flight.

Apple bought Test Flight not too long ago, so now it is part of Apple.

If you get on a beta project, you will want to download the test flight app 
which is free.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for this one, it's awesome so far.
The categories are pretty straight forward. The only difference I see is
that while playing audio, the 2-finger-double-tap does not work, rather
there is a play button (bottom middle) that you must double tap to
pause/resume.

Ok, I'm off to find out how to export these shows.
