Oh, my God, yes! I want that functionality back, too! The way it is now is
horrible! File sharing is an absolute mess, too!

Re: Help with iTunes

2016-07-16 Thread Gary Petraccaro
I've gotten that too from one person but a couple of others were quite nice
and at minimum tried to be helpful. Don't let the luck of the draw dissuade
you from trying again. That's assuming, of course, that what you want to do
is doable to begin with.

Hi, yep, I'd be very happy! I haven't written on this recently but, to be
honest, I am seriously taking a look elsewhere because I'm sick of the
constant change in the app and the things that are difficult to visualise,
slow to move to and change every time there's a new version, not to mention
those things that just don't work after a new version comes out. It's not
good enough in my book and certainly spoils what I still consider to be the
very best device out there so far as accessability is concerned.

I am wondering if Apple's policy is that everyone who can't manage iTunes,
or doesn't want to bother with it, doesn't have to as they can use the Cloud
and download all the music from - well, guess where!

No, we already have lots of music and want to use it ...

Yes, we still have a Windows PC and the learning curve with a Mac was too
great for me so I gave it up ...

You're welcome to pass this on!

Is this iTunes for PC or iTunes for PC and Mac we're talking about? I can
only speak for PC and there, I've given up. I'm either downloading my
podcasts manually in one case and everything else I've moved to another
program.

2016-07-11 Thread 'Carol Pearson' via VIPhone
Hi, yep, I'd be very happy! I haven't written on this recently but, to
be honest, I am seriously taking a look elsewhere because I'm sick of
the constant change in the app and the things that are difficult to
visualise, slow to move to and change every time there's a new version,
not to mention those things that just don't work after a new version
comes out. It's not good enough in my book and certainly spoils what I
still consider to be the very best device out there so far as
accessability is concerned.

I am wondering if Apple's policy is that everyone who can't manage
iTunes, or doesn't want to bother with it, doesn't have to as they can
use the Cloud and download all the music from - well, guess where!

No, we already have lots of music and want to use it ...

Yes, we still have a Windows PC and the learning curve with a Mac was
too great for me so I gave it up ...

You're welcome to pass this on!

RE: Help with iTunes

2016-07-09 Thread Richard Turner
The latest is 12.4.3...
Most of it is not nearly as usable as it used to be.

I'm not sure if searching for the particular album would get it into focus so
you could do what you want to do. Worth a try.
Then, contact both Freedom Scientific and Apple Accessibility about getting
iTunes back to being more accessible.

Good luck,
Richard

RE: Help With iTunes

2015-05-27 Thread SSEric
Unless I am missing something, can't you just synchronize the phone again
and select the music or play lists you want. All else will be removed from
the phone.

I wonder how the latest ITunes is working with Windows and JAWS. I am using
Windows 7 and JAWS 10 and I am afraid to update ITunes for fear it will not
work anymore. I do have NVDA, so I guess that will continue to work, but I
am not as familiar with that SR.

The best!

I believe he was saying that if you fix the song in iTunes, it should fix

If music shows up incorrectly like that then the Genre ID3 tag is wrong.
It's an easy thing to edit this in iTunes, just find the song, press
Control+I for Get Info, then on the Info tab find the Genre field and type

Need help with iTunes match

2014-06-01 Thread Jerry Mader
Hello folks. I need help with iTunes match. I would like to get all of my pop
and rock music in one library and let iTunes match look at that library but I
don't know if I'm able to do that or not. Because I already have a library in
which iTunes match is looking at but I don't want half of the tracks in there
so I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm getting
frustrated. Can I create a different library and just put some of the Tracks in
there, that I want and leave others out? What should I do? Thank you. Jerry

RE: need help with itunes

2014-05-05 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Lori,

For the most part you just have to use the Tab key to move around in iTunes,
F6 is also useful in some cases to move you to various areas on the screen
and you can usually use Control+F to get back to the search box which
sometimes is a good reference point from where to start tabbing.

I highly recommend you listen to the December 2012 and January 2013 Podcasts
of Jonathan Mosen where he talks about using iTunes 11 with Jaws 14. They
are Freedom Scientific FS Casts and can be found at
www.FreedomScientific.FSCast <http://www.FreedomScientific.FSCast> .

Regards,

Sieghard

2013-08-01 Thread chrissiepooh27
Hello, I have iTunes Match, and I am having problems with it. First, I synced

that will play is the music I bought from the iTunes Store. My other music is
there from CD's, but it won't play in the music app on my iPhone. Could someone
tell me what I am suppose to do to make my music play? I would really
appreciate any help, thanks. Christine
