I’m a Sprint customer and get it for free. I couldn’t really get around it well. As you mentioned, lot’s of unlabeled buttons and general inaccessibility. I submitted feedback through the app and followed up with an email reply to their auto generated response with the standard faq’s on how to resolve issues. NBA Game Time

Hi, yes, I have had success with the app but, its really, really, a pain in the neck. Like ou mentioned, the page is constantly refreshing so you have to find what you want, kinda remember the position of the thing you want to activate, then double tap it between refreshes. If you know what you want, you could try using the item chooser. This might make things a little easier. An app I have had success with is score center You can set favorite teams, sports, and even choose what updates you get. By quarter, half, or the final score, you can even have it give you an update when there is a close game. It even gives you leag news, like trades and contract signings.
