Re: A way of signing electronically, perhaps?
Thank for so much for this infomation. This could be handy, although it's a pity I cant do this with out assistance as i don't always have any around. I assume you would need some one with you or can i do it with a person online who had the form. What about placing the signature anywhere on the form, and the person rcving the form moving it to where it has to go? Just looking for possible work arounds for this. RE: A way of signing electronically, perhaps?
Generally, moving the signature would result in the signature reporting as invalid. Part of what is certified is that the document has not been altered after signing. There are ways to accomplish this with Acrobat reader under Windows without assistance, am unaware of a method thus far on an iDevice. -Len -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Stephanie Mitchell Sent: Friday, July 05, 2013 11:22 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: A way of signing electronically, perhaps? Re: A way of signing electronically, perhaps?
Hi there. I recommend that you do a Google search for Lifehacker and electronic document signing. They will give you a list of the top five apps which can be used for signing so that you don't have to print a document, scan it, and then email it or fax it. Docusign Ink. is very voiceover friendly, however placing your signature on the right part of the document you need to sign is something that I do not believe a totally blind person can do. This requires that you maneuver your signature to the right part of the document that you upload. Then you send the document to the person who needs to receive the signed document. I recently have had to sign several documents and got sighted assistance with one of them using this app. The app itself is voiceover friendly as I mentioned, but moving the signature to the right part was where I required assistance. Easysign Was another app I looked at, but I didn't care to try it because you only got three free signatures. Then you had to purchase additional signature capability. The first app I mentioned seems to be the best one even though it has pro features. Good luck. Re: A way of signing electronically, perhaps?
One of the first things I noticed in reading the details in the app store is the phrase: Offers in app purchases so I think you will find that it is not free in the long run. But it looks promising and may be worth paying a fee to have a way to do this if someone has to sign very many documents and could save time not having to travel to an office, etc. Richard (Sent from Richard's iPod Touch 5th gen) On Jul 4, 2013, at 6:48 AM, Sandratomkins sandratomk...@googlemail.com wrote: Hi Steph, I downloaded this a couple of months ago, but have never actually used it.
