Hi Sieghard, I guess the 30% is to compensate for the fact that you are purchasing a Kindle book and not an IBook. That way, Apple get their money one way or the other. So much for our freedom of choice. Hi, yes, I have no issues purchasing books via Safari or any PC browser. I think what folks are responding to is that Robert Carter mentioned in his last podcast that he was able to purchase books via the Amazon app but others have not been able to do so so we're wondering what the magic sauce is unless he was mistaken.. I am trying to purchase a book with my PC, not with the Amazon App on my phone. I have the book on my wish list. I then click on the book's title and I get the following message: This mobile site does not currently support the purchase of this item. Add it to your Wish List and you can view and purchase it from your computer. But I am on my computer; I am not on a mobile web site. And the book is already on my wish list. It's as if I am in a loop.
