Re: Speaker with Go Payment
Yes ma'am, it's set up that way as the portable card reader that you'd get from them if infect you get one would be plugged in to the earphone hole. Of course when the earphone hole has something in it. You're not going to have voiceover at all. I don't use the card reader. I just inter the credit card numbers by hand. The only down side to this is, you'd better trust that the person who is reading their card number to you is actually being honest about it. However, I've yet to find another work around. - Original Message - From: "Kim" To: Sent: Friday, October 26, 2012 14:16 Subject: Speaker with Go Payment Hi, I'm setting up a Go Payment account to accept credit card payments and it seems to bipass the iPhone speaker and VoiceOver only comes through the part you hold to your ear. I personally prefer to use the card reader. I'm not that trusting of other's ability to either remember their card info correctly or to read the number properly. Plus, because for me in most cases I'm using it in packed convention exhibit halls, it's a must to use headphones. The card reader works well in that at least we can use it with voiceover unlike the Square one. Hi, do't they charge you more for doing manual entries though? Also, has anyone tried using Bluetooth headphones? Plug the card reader in first, that takes away audio, then turn on your Bluetooth headphones, audio should be routed back to you while the card reader is plugged in. -- Raul A. General speaking, when you plug something in to the earphone hole, it'll disable a bleutooth headset, earpiece, etc. - Original Message - From: "Sharonda Greenlaw" To: Sent: Friday, October 26, 2012 18:03 Subject: Re: Speaker with Go Payment What about bt earpiece Sharonda Sent from my iPhone; please excuse all mistakes On Oct 26, 2012, at 2:45 PM, "Sean Paul" wrote: Yes ma'am, it's set up that way as the portable card reader that you'd get from them if infect you get one would be plugged in to the earphone hole. Wouldn't the bluetooth connect if you already had bluetooth turned on, then plugged in the reader in to the earphone jack and then turned on your bluetooth headset? - Original Message - From: "Sean Paul" To: Sent: Monday, October 29, 2012 6:04 AM Subject: Re: Speaker with Go Payment General speaking, when you plug something in to the earphone hole, it'll disable a bleutooth headset, earpiece, etc. RE: Speaker with Go Payment
Hi Amy, I'm hoping that you can help me with the Go Payment system. I have a craft fair on Saturday and I'm having trouble with VO and the Go Payment app. Can I call you about this? Or, you can certainly call me toll free: 888.336.3039 I have an account set up with Intuit, I have a card reader, a BT earpiece and an iPhone. When I was dinking around with it before my account was set up VO worked fine with my earpiece and with the card reader plugged in. Today I was going to try some dummy transactions to get familiar with how things worked and VO isn't working with it. When I have my earpiece on and start the Go Payment app I can only hear VO through the phone listening area and when I plug in the card reader then I don't hear anything. I've tried a number of combinations and still no luck. Are you using a BT earpiece or did you get a splitter? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Kim PS I've intending to send this to you privately and I hope that's what happened...I'm lacking a little confidence in the technology realm. - Original Message - From: "Amy Billman" I personally prefer to use the card reader.
