  Arlene,

Yes, I'm using the ZoomText screen reader and when I go to the Sam's Club
website, I'm automatically logged into my account and I use the search box at
the top of the page when looking for new items or I simply select items I've
saved in my Favorites list or that I've previously purchased. Once I've added
everything to my cart, I purchase it on the web page. I pretty much use the app
for getting notifications of when my purchase is ready to pick up and use my
iPhone to sign in at the member pickup kiosk at the store with my Sam's member
ID code which I've saved in my wallet.

Alan, When you say that you interface with your sams app through your
computer with firefox, can you log into the app on your computer, and or are
you going through the shopping process on the sams web page? I'll have to take
a look at the sams page, and the way you do it, might possibly in away be a bit
easier, more of a sure thing everything on your list added the way it should
be. Thank you.

Arlene,

I'm always a bit hesitant to answer posts asking for the best way to do
something. The best way can vary widely depending on the individual doing it.
With that said, I use the Sam's club app to interface with my account where I
usually use my computer and Firefox to place my Sam's orders. I make sure that
I add products that I repeatedly buy to a Favorites list which makes ordering
them in the future easier. I'll go online on my computer, add the items I want
to my cart, and then purchase them. I'll get notified via email and the app
when the order is ready to pick up and I go to my local Sam's where the items
are in a cart ready to pick up and depart with after I've signed in at the
pickup kiosk within the store and a Sam's employee directs me to my stuff. I
suspect this might work differently at different Sam's stores. I know the
process hasn't been identical even at my same store so I suspect it's evolving.

Good luck.

I got the sams app. we didn't get the scan and go. We'd like too pick out
the products on the app to be able to submit to pick up at the store. One of
the sales associate showed us how to shop online with the shopping cart, and
that we could submit the orders of the products to be picked up at the store.
Is this the best way or what way would be the right way to get this done. Also

I am not sure if you are talking about the Sam's app or the scan and go.
The scan and go app allows you to scan your items while shopping. You can then
check out on your phone. I use it all the time.

The Sam's app is for shopping online and also finding in store
availability of items.

Julie,

I apologize for the delay in replying but I've been out and away from email.
When I launch the Sam's Club app, a welcome and my name appears in the upper
left corner of the screen... When I double tap on my name, a membership screen
opens and as I flick right, I get to a button labeled add to Apple Wallet.
Double tapping on it adds it to your wallet.

I am not sure if you are talking about the Sam's app or the scan and go.
The scan and go app allows you to scan your items while shopping. You can then
check out on your phone. I use it all the time.

The Sam's app is for shopping online and also finding in store availability
of items.

The app is easier to find things in but if you are just browsing, the web is
okay. Yes, the web is a bit more cluttered, but it can be gotten around in.
It just takes time and sometimes that bugs the crap out of me. I just wish
I could find a quick and easy way to shop these stores.

You can look through categories, but we have found that all the items
that should be listed are not always there. We have settled on going to
Sams.com and doing things like purchasing or setting up pickups that way.
It is pretty bad when you are looking up cheese and the app tells you that
cheese can not be found, both on a search and in the category. But, when
you use the web, there are literally hundreds of different kinds of cheese
products.

RE: is anyone using the sams store app?

2018-04-05 Thread Alan Lemly

Good luck.

Alan Lemly

sales associate showed us how to shop online with the shopping cart, and that
we could submit the orders of the products to be picked up at the store. Is
this the best way or what way would be the right way to get this done. Also as
she was showing us, she said to search for the product, is that the best way or
is there away to go through the products? Thank you.

I am not sure if you are talking about the Sam's app or the scan and go.
The scan and go app allows you to scan your items while shopping. You can then
check out on your phone. I use it all the time.
The Sam's app is for shopping online and also finding in store availability
of items.

2018-04-05 Thread Arlene
I got the sams app. we didn't get the scan and go. We'd like too pick out the
products on the app to be able to submit to pick up at the store. One of the
sales associate showed us how to shop online with the shopping cart, and that
we could submit the orders of the products to be picked up at the store. Is
this the best way or what way would be the right way to get this done. Also as

Re: is anyone using the sams store app?

2018-04-03 Thread Doc wright
I use both Sams Clubn and their Scan and go app.
With the main app you can do anything you did on the web site. you can even
renew or upgrade your membership.

I wonder if there's anyone that uses the sams club store app? How does it
work and what does it let you do? Thanks.
