Hi, a badge icon is the number which shows up after the name of the app.
The mail app is a good example. So, if you have 55 new messages, it will
say, Mail, 55 new items. The Fahrenheit app uses the badges to show the
current temperature. So, if it's 85 degrees out, it will say Fahrenheit,
85 new items.

Hope that helps.

Hi. By default it will show you the temperature as a badge icon on
the home screen. To look at the forecast, just double tap the
program on your home screen and when it opens it will show you the
list. It uses location services to determine where you are. So if
you have those enabled then it should work fine. If you disabled
your location services, then you will have to add a location
manually from within the app.

I hope this helps.

Re: Fahrenheit app

2012-06-29 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
Hello Paula. This is a good question. In fact, I usually use the built in
weather app which comes with the phone if I am in the notification Center.
However, the Fahrenheit app has the advantage that the app icon it's self on
the home screen will tell you the temperature. This way you don't have to open
it, and you don't have to go into the notification Center. I hope this helps.

No because there is absolutely no way for anyapp to get the
temperature of the room you are in. The IPhone does not have the
hardware to do that. Would be cool if it did though.

The Current Temperature Push app does the same thing. I wish mine said
85 new items, grin. As it is, yesterday it said 100 new items.

Hi. By default it will show you the temperature as a badge icon on
the home screen. To look at the forecast, just double tap the
program on your home screen and when it opens it will show you the

you have those enabled then it should work fine. If you disabled
