RE: Twitter app that doesn't require a previously created account.
That's the point, I'd prefer not to have to bother with creating a Twitter account at all. In any event, I'll follow up on some of the options previously entioned. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Raul A. Thank you for this. I'm probably just going to have to grab the various rss feeds and put them in a dedicated folder or something in my Google Reader (Feedller), but I'm going to give these to suggestions a try. Re: Twitter app that doesn't require a previously created account.
Hi, I completely forgot about boxcar, it is an option. I just took a look at push4 and so far I only see the ability to receive notifications for keywords. Maybe it would work if you placed the twitter handle of the person in the field, but I don't know. - Original Message - From: Jonathan Mosen To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2012 2:10 PM Subject: RE: Twitter app that doesn't require a previously created account. Re: Twitter app that doesn't require a previously created account.
Hi, I am not aware of anyway to accomplish what you are trying to do. I do see what it is you are after, but the only suggestion I have is to just create the twitter account, set your tweets to private to prevent anyone from following you with your excepting them, and just follow the people you want to see tweets from and never post anything to your account. - Original Message - From: Cristobal To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Monday, August 20, 2012 12:41 PM Subject: Twitter app that doesn't require a previously created account. Hello list, Maybe someone can help me out. I'm looking for an app that will allow me to follow tweets and twitter handles, but without me having to sign into a twitter account first. I don't have and have no interest in creating a twitter handle and would just like to be able to follow certain tweets be it from people I know, sports, news and politics related stuff. I've tried downloading a few apps, (Tweetcast and so on), but they all require me to sign in. I know I could just grab the rss feed for each twitter handle I wish to follow and perhaps view them in my rss reader, but I'd prefer to just use a stand alone app. If anyone knows of such an app and that is reasonably accessible with Voiceover, I'd appreciate knowing what it is. Thanks, -- --
Re: Twitter app that doesn't require a previously created account.
I believe that you need to have an account to do this. It’s just like Facebook in that regard.
