Re: Using the calendar and entering data into the calender
You can use the reminders app that comes with iPhone. You can enter in for example, Doctor's appointment. Then enter in when you want to be reminded like the day before. Very easy to use. - Original Message - From: "Lori Dent" To: Sent: Saturday, January 26, 2013 9:12 AM Subject: Re: Using the calendar and entering data into the calender HiMarcy, I want to enter doctor appointments, Lion meetings and other Lion events in and any other events, activities that will be going on into my calendar.Take care. Re: Using the calendar and entering data into the calender
You could also use reminders. Hold down the home key until you hear a double tone which indicates that Siri is listening and say, "Set a reminder for" whatever date you want to be reminded. Siri will respond, "what do you want to be reminded about?" Double tap just above the home key and say, "Dr. appointment with so and so at such and such time." I usually have my reminders of appointments go off the day before the actual appointment. - Original Message - From: "Lori Dent" To: "viphone" Sent: Friday, January 25, 2013 7:33 PM Subject: Using the calendar and entering data into the calender Hi all,I want to use my calendar on my I phone. Re: Using the calendar and entering data into the calender
Hi, In the top right corner of the screen there is an add button. Double tap this. Now you will be in an edit field where you type in your title. Now double tap on location which will be in the middle of the screen thereabouts. Type in where it will be. Now look for something that says starts. Double tap that. Now you will have some picker items to do. To use those, double tap on one and then slide your finger up or down the screen to change. When you are done with that one, find the next one at the bottom of the screen and repeat the gesture. Then in the middle of the screen will be the end. Double tap on that to bring the other set of pickers up to change your ending time. Now double tap on done. The rest is pretty simple. Just slide around and look for repeat and alert. When you are done, double tap on done. I hope this helps a little bit. If not, write me off list, and we can arrange a way to talk about it. Thank you so much!
