RE: checking where your contacts are?

2021-09-13 Thread Christopher Chaltain
I also went into Settings -> Contacts, and my default contacts are Gmail and
not iCloud.

Another thing you can do which might be informational is go into the Contacts
app and double tap on the groups button at the top of the screen. Now you can
select the contacts you want to see, so for example, if you just want to see
which contacts you have in iCloud, just make sure that's the only group
selected and then double tap on done. Similarly you can just select on my
iPhone to see which contacts are stored locally on your iPhone. I don't see
anything for a sim card.

Janet, normally, they don't get save to the Sim card. They're normally either

Re: checking where your contacts are?

2021-09-13 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hello Janet,

In case you are an Android user the contacts by default get saved to the
google account set up on your device and in case you are using an iphone
then the same will be uploaded to your icloud account.

So changing the phone provider will not remove the contacts backed up over
these.
