Hello! Folks: I just thought I would touch base with the members of the list, and let them know that my previous issue with getting kicked out of Facebook messenger has now seem to have resolved itself and been corrected. As of about anywhere from 12 noon on today Saturday, September 23, 2017, the issue that I had with being kicked out of Facebook messenger app on my iPhone 6 seems to have corrected itself. I am no longer being kicked out and I'm able to use the app quite adequately. I will let you know if anything changes in the future. Please I need your help - Facebook messenger app and sounds
Hello list, I apologise in advance if this sound as a sily question. My friend has Iphone 6 S plus with the latest IOs update. After updating IOS and Facebook messenger from Apstore, the default sound for incoming messages on FB messenger has changed from "ding" sound to the sound which you can hear when you get for example twitter notifications from regular twitter app for Iphone. Does anyone have this issue and is there anyway how to get it fixed and change back to the "ding" sound? I have Iphone 6 and the "ding" sound on FB messenger is still there. It might not be a big deal, but she is used to the typical FB messenger sound. :-); that way she can quickly identify she has a new FB message. Thank you for your help in advance. RE: A Question About The Facebook Messenger App
Hello Lucy, My apology. I was unclear. One only needs to install the Facebook Messenger App if one wants to, among other things apparently, send and receive Facebook messages in iOS. If you select the Messages tab in the Facebook App, as of now, you will no longer see any messages from within the app. You can only view your messages either by going to the Facebook website, itself, or by using the Facebook Messenger app. Mark -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Edmonds, Lucy (LARA) Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2014 11:27 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: A Question About The Facebook Messenger App Since when do we have to install the Facebook Messenger App? RE: facebook messenger app
Hi, I'm fairly new to this Facebook and Facebook Messenger thing and I was actually wondering what the purpose of Facebook Messenger is if you have the main Facebook app which has a Messenger tab and which seems to be exactly the same, have the same features and so on. Anyhow, the only way I can delete anything is to touch or swipe to a conversation, then double tap and hold on the right side of the screen and swipe across from right to left. After that if you double tap again anywhere, the following options pop up: Archive Mark as Span Mark as Unread Cancel Not sure why you can only archive and not delete, but this is all I can figure out. Re: facebook messenger app
It can't be done but here is how you delete individual messages in a conversation. 1. Open a message. 2. Find the message you want to delete. 3. Rotor to edit. 4. Flick up with one finger to delete and double tap. Regards Chris Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth! I must have something set up wrong, because when I use my roter, I don't find customization so I can't delete the messages in Messenger.
