In looking at the ATT page, I noted they offer refurbed 5's Looking into one of 
these. For example,
A refurbed 32 gig device is $199 with service agreement.  Pros? Cons? I am sure 
I would not be too
far out on my own were I to buy a refurbed unit through them?

200 bucks for a refurbished phone on a term?  That seems a bit steep, 
especially if the term is 3 years.  I guess if you can buy apple care on that 
phone you might consider it.

Well, that's a bit more reasonable.  I still say make sure you can get apple 
care on it though.  In fact, I advize people buying new phones on term to go 
for the extended warrantee.  It's not worth locking yourself in for that long 
without it.

I had a refurbished 3gs.  It was fine until it needed mic repair, the 
guy I had do it was really surprised about how they'd used glue on 
places he didn't expect glue.  If it comes with a full warranty, I 
wouldn't be too worried.

According to the rep I spoke with it is fully warranted It should ship 
tomorrow.  I gather the only
